The property was nice and the pictures are exactly what the condo looks like. Clean and up to date. Communication with the owner was very efficient. My only issues was that the beds for the bunk beds were not comfortable. The distance to San Juan was more like 30 mins than 15 mins so a rental car is necessary. The water for the showers did not get hot. Luke warm was the hottest it got. There was a slight misunderstanding in regard to the water being taken care of. However, the owner was very apologetic. Nonetheless, this is overall a great and safe property. I would definitely recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful time during our stay in Loiza. The condo is perfectly located right on the beach with spectacular views from every angle. The beach and pools were lovely. The condo is located in the perfect spot to visit old San Juan or El Yunque or the bioluminescent bay. Grocery stores and a huge mall are close as well. Do not waste your money staying anywhere else- you will not be disappointed here.

This was a girls trip and we had a fabulous time. You can’t beat the location, weather , and atmosphere of this place!!! We had such a great time! The beds were comfy, condo was immaculate and Cathy was great with communication. We will definitely be back!

Our entire family loved our stay at Aquatika in Loiza. The unit was clean, beds very comfortable, lots of space and amenities including plenty of clean bath and beach towels, beach chairs, toys, linens, kitchen essentials and more. The high ceilings and large picture windows create an open living space. The rooftop patio is the highlight of the apartment. With views to the ocean and El Yunque, I enjoyed coffee on the rooftop in the morning and taking in the stars and sea breeze after dark. We grilled and enjoyed family dinners on the patio. We embraced the lively culture Aquatika had over the weekend but preferred the calmer vibes on the weekdays. Entire family enjoyed walking entire length of Aquatika community stopping to take a dip in a pool, or float down the lazy river, relax in a hot tub, or just breathe in the breeze from the many palm trees. Personal favorite spot was setting up a hammock on the nearly private beach and swimming in the stunning blue waters. We got necessities from the close by market, experienced a beautiful Easter celebration in Loiza at oldest Catholic church in Puerto Rico, St. Patrick, tasted fresh made Arepas from several folks in town. Explored beyond Loiza, much to do within 20-30 minutes. We felt welcome and comfortable and already planning our next trip to beautiful Puerto Rico!

Our family of 6 stayed in the penthouse property from March 16-23. My first impression upon arrival was how clean everything was, from the living areas to kitchen to the bedrooms and bathrooms. We found everything to be well maintained. We really loved the location of this complex. It was a short drive from the airport, about 25-30 minutes. We preferred being close to the rainforest as we visited several times. Although the town of Loiza itself is small, it had quaint local businesses to enjoy and there was a WalMart, McDonalds and other restaurants and shopping within a 15 minute drive. The other activities that we did were within a 30-60 minute drive, and part of the reason some trips were on the longer side were because of the small, windy roads it took to get to the coast for our catamaran trip and bioluminescent bay kayak excursion. Security was very good on the property with security at the main gate, a key is required to enter to and from the beach, and there was staff regularly walking the property. As far as the unit itself, we quickly felt we had rented one of the best units in the complex! There are only two buildings in the complex that sit beachfront and this is in one of them. The view is A+! From the rear of the patio, you have a lovely view of the ocean and beach and from the opposite side of you have a beautiful view of the rainforest. Our teenagers loved the upstairs lounge area with the couch and TV. The bedrooms were nice with cable TV and AC in each. In addition, there were two working AC units in the main living area to easily cool the entire unit. We made good use of the kitchen and had plenty of dishes, pots and pans to work with. There was a beautiful new wood block kitchen table to eat at or the patio table, and we loved grilling steaks on the patio also! There was also a supply of beach toys and beach chairs, and I really appreciated having the chairs for the beach. We primarily used one of the two pools closest to our unit and the hot tub and all were very nice and clean and a short walk from the unit. We were impressed with how meticulously the groundkeepers maintained the lawn, landscape and facilities. It seemed there was always someone out working. It is true that during our stay, one of the large picture windows was covered, having been damaged by the hurricane. But I do not feel like it affected our stay at all. The other window was very large, allowing in plenty of light and beautiful scenery. We were able to see some

We had a wonderful stay in Loiza! The condo was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. The views were breathtaking and the accommodations were perfect. It was a very comfortable place for our family to stay, especially with AC in every room. This is definitely going on our list of places we'd stay again!

This was our second trip to stay in Aquatika. We loved the penthouse 7003. The unit was very clean and the rooftop views were amazing...mountains on one side and beach on the other! We especially loved the patio furniture to eat several meals at! The beds and couches are very comfortable. The grounds and pools at Aquatika are fabulous! The beach area is nice and never crowded. We enjoyed finding true sea glass while we were there! We also love the location of Aquatika in Loiza because it's central to San Juan/Old San Juan and also to Luquillo and Fajardo. I especially enjoyed knowing that the security at Aquatika is superior...totally gated and i.d.'s checked upon arriving each time at the complex. We experienced a couple of issues while we were there....AC wouldn't work in main area and lightbulb blew in the hall bathroom but Cathy helped us out quickly. She sent a new lightbulb the next day after being notified and tried to get the AC technician to us, but unfortunately it didn't work with his schedule. We kept the windows open for a nice breeze and that helped the kitchen/main living area stay nice. I wish we had been told that one if the huge windows was boarded up, because it hindered the view of the beach from inside the unit but we will definitely consider staying here again!

We stayed in this condo Feb. 18-23, 2019. It's in the best location in the complex, one of the few units directly facing the ocean. Unfortunately one of the two giant two story picture windows facing the ocean must have been damaged during the hurricane & is boarded up. But the view from the second is still great & you can be on the beach in about a minute! The 3 bedrooms were very nice & all had their own AC. The common area has a new kitchen table that easily seats 6. The 1st floor common area AC didn't work, but there was a constant breeze, so it wasn't necessary. You can also use the 2nd floor AC to cool the first . The grounds were very nicely kept up. The pool closest to the unit was the most popular as it was heated. The beach was great .. it was small, but it had nice sand & the water was warm. Overall the complex probably only had 10-15% occupancy, so nothing was crowded & it was very relaxing. The location was a good starting off place to visit the rain forest or to travel to San Juan, and it was also great to just hang around. During the week there weren't many close restaurants open, so you might have to drive a little bit if you want to go out. We used the grill a couple of times - it was very handy. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and will return in the future.

The place is very well maintained and the furnishings are very comfortable. The view of the ocean on one side and the view of the pool and grounds on the other side were beautiful. The grounds were immaculate. Would definitely recommend staying here!

This is our 5th year going to Aquatika and 2nd year in this gorgeous beach front Penthouse unit. The grounds were absolutely immaculate even with everything that they have been through over the past 6 months. Although there were still some boarded up windows for the most part everything was fully recovered. Our unit that we stayed in with 3 adults and 3 kids (ages 8,6, and 4) is amazing. The bedrooms are large and super comfortable, the kitchen is equipped with everything that you need and the upstairs area with the flat screen TV overlooking the deck is great. We cooked every night on the amazing BBQ and there was plenty of furniture outside for everyone to sit on. As I said this is our 5th year coming to Aquatika and working with Cathy who manages the properties. She is awesome to work with and always very responsive to anything that you may need. See yo again next year
