Nous avons passé un super séjour dans la villa (en famille / amis)! La maison est très bien équipée, propre, fonctionnelle comme indiqué dans l’annonce La villa est à seulement 100m de la plage, où nous avons fait du snorkeling (poisson lion, calamar, murène…)

First of all Yannick is a wonderful communicator. I have had some questions and he has always responded very promptly. Our trip had to be adjusted due to changes by AirFrance and Yannick was very accommodating. Luckly for us we were able to stay 1 more day. Virgine was super. She was so attentive and patient with us. Even though my French was super rusty, we were able to communicate and have a fantastic time. The house is beautiful and in a perfect location, just down the road, 2 min walk to a beautiful beach. Hopefully we will be able to come back soon.

The house is very nice, spacious and really has a modern touch with a carribian twist with an excellent kitchen which made it nice and easy to cook almost all of our meals in the house. At night we listened to all tropical sounds of birds and frogs(?). We were two families with grown up children staying in the house and we really enjoyed our time there. We alternated between swimming in the lovely pool in the garden or walking the short walk down to the stunning beach to enjoy snorkeling, skim boarding and swimming there. Guadeloupe is a very nice and flowerful island and we also recommend everyone visiting to explore the full island, there are so many things to see and do. We did wave surfing, swimming in water falls, hiking up La Sufrière, visited Les Saints and many more things, we had a great time! The only setback we had was that one evening when all of us were gathered upstairs having dinner together, we obviously at the same time had an uninvited visitor in the downstair unlocked apartment and got some things and money stolen… Therefore we advise everyone to always keep all unattended doors and windows locked at the property. Overall an excellent experience with the owner and concierge. We really recommend you to stay at Villa Karumaya!

We stayed at this Deshaies house the first week of November. This was our first vacation since Covid started. The booking process was simple and the owner very communicative. We had worries about flights and he was very flexible and accommodating. We really appreciated his thoughfulness. Guadeloupe is a wonderful combination of quiet and enough amenities to feel like a vacation. Its beaches are perfect. Ten minutes west of the house is the best beach on the island. Picture perfect with excellent restaurants and golden sand. We toured mostly the western side including a day sailing trip out of Basse-Terre. The house was perfect. It was equipped with everything. The indoor/outdoor living space was fantastic. Large porch around the house that gives shade when wanted and the pool out front. The neighborhood is quaint and there was live music across the road a couple of nights. The beach at the bottom of the road is a 5 min walk - though a steep walk back up. The restaurant on the beach side at the bottom of the road has rotisserie chicken that looked fantastic but they do it just on weekends. Lots of nice restaurants in Deshaies. I highly recommend this location and the owners. Check in was a breeze as was check out. Thank you for sharing your vacation spot with us.

Aucune surprise vous attend la villa est comme le descriptif l'indique une maison magnifique très bien équipée vraiment bien située ce qui nous a permis de faire quand même pas mal de chose malgré le reconfinement Les hôtesses ainsi que le propriétaire sont vraiment très disponibles et nous ont donnés de très bons conseils pour pouvoir profiter un maximum de nos vacances Je recommande vivement cette maison qui est vraiment magnifique

Luxury and attention to detail is what you will experience at this villa. The owner was quick to answer all of our questions and provided several recommendations to help us plan our visit in advance. We received a warm welcome and thorough introduction to the property and all of the amenities from the very professional and friendly concierge. We also received a generous welcome gift of local rum to kickoff our vacation. It was difficult to venture out because the setting was so ideal. We spent most of our time sunning next to the immaculate pool day and night. The grounds were very private we always felt free and relaxed. We were mesmerized by the vistas of the Caribbean Sea, accompanied by the sounds of the crashing waves and colorful sunsets. The best bakery we found was less than 100 meters away. Just beyond that was the beach at Leroux which offered fantastic snorkeling. The central location of the villa made travel to sites such as the national park, botanic garden, cocoa museum quick and easy. We highly recommend this property and hope to stay there again and again.
