Catherine's apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a family of 4. A TV is not the most important on holiday but with 2 little ones we were in every evening. The TV has everything you could possibly need. A lovely peaceful well kept clean complex with secure gates. Catherine was an amazing host, very helpful.

Location is a quiet, peaceful enclave set back about 400 metres from the beach. There is parking available at the entrance gates or just around the corner. Walking: there is a steep way down to the sea front or an easier way via a slightly longer route if you are less fit. The apartment was clean and tidy and has a bathroom, a largish combined living/ dining area and has 2 proper bedrooms, both similar in size,. A small balcony has views of the pool and sea and receives sun in the afternoon/evening, so it is a good place for pre-evening drinks before venturing out to the strip or the old town. There is a small pool and all common areas are well kept. The host, Catherine, was very friendly (by email-we never met) and left a bottle of wine in the fridge for our arrival date and was kind enough to accommodate a late checkout on our departure date.

Communication with Catherine was brilliant. The apartment was very clean on arrival and everything worked as it should. The beds were very comfortable, but you do have to mind your shins on the frame. The bedrooms are at the rear of the property enabling them to stay cooler during the day. With the windows and patio door open there was a pleasant breeze passing through. Air conditioning is available in the lounge area, but was not required with the windows open. The bathroom also housed the washing machine which we made use of. The shower worked well and we never ran out of hot water. Plenty of storage space and hangers in the bedrooms. The patio area had a table, chairs, 2 loungers and a clothes line and attracted the sun from about 1pm when we stayed there. The complex has a number of residents who were very friendly. The pool area was cleaned on a regular basis and had plenty of sun loungers and chairs, so no need to put the towels out early. There was a small supermarket about 200m along the road, with a Spar, Hiper Dino and Lidl about 10 mins walk away. Nearest restaurants were about the same distance from the apartment.The beach is also about a 10 min walk (down Cardiac Hill). Had a very enjoyable stay in Catheine's apartment and would certainly stay again in the future.

This was our second visit to Catherines apartment,fantastic location and size of accomodation.Everything you need,ie. washing machine,towels,beach towels and internet.Catherine on hand if any problems occured.Would definetly go back and would highly recommend.

We had a great time at Catherine's apartment. It was very roomy, the beds were comfortable and it had everything we needed. Nice modern kitchen with oven and cable tv with every channel including sports. The complex looked a bit jaded from the outside but inside it had a lovely pool that was never busy and the gardens were well looked after. We've visited Lanzarote many times this apartment is amongst the best we've stayed in. Really looking forward to returning later in the year.

A very good stay in apt 18. Communication with Catherine was good both before and after arrival. Large balcony, 2 comfy beds and good cooking facilities, all u need for a s/c holiday. Would have given 5 stars only the condition of the crockery wasn't good, most of the large plates were chipped or cracked.

The apartment when we arrived was spotless and fresh with everything you need. The bedrooms are large plenty of storage and beds are very comfy. The balcony is lovely with views to the sea to the left and mountains to the right, it also overlooks the pool. The pool area is also spotless with plenty of sun beds. The beach and main bar area is approx 8 minutes walk where you will find plenty of places to eat and drink. Communication from the owner Catherine cannot be faulted and I would like to thank her for allowing us to stay in her lovely apartment. Would definitely stay again when next in Puerto Del Carmen.

My husband & I stayed in Las Orquideas the week after Christmas. The apartment was spotless and had all the facilities we needed including WiFi and a great selection of TV channels. The location was perfect - quiet and relaxing but within walking distance of restaurants , bars and shops. Catherine responded immediately to all our messages and the booking process was seamless. We will definitely return Monica & Sean

Had a fantastic stay in Catherines apartment and could not find a fault with it, everything needed and a handy position to get about on foot. All shops near by and a big Lidl only a ten minute walk. Swimming pool and sun beds and a lovely balcony to watch sunsets, the TV system has everything will be going back for certain. If available

Hi stayed in Las Orquideas for week recently. Catherine's apartment is everything you would want . Location is great as it is only few minutes from main strip of Peurto de Carmen and beach. It is a very quiet small peaceful apartment block and Catherine's apartment has lovely views of sea and sun shines through patio from mid morning. Will be booking again for sure !
