The house was double booked. We checked in first and after we checked in our reservation was cancelled via email! We were told the hot water didn’t work which was a lie. Then we were told there was an issue with permits and they can’t legally rent us the house which was also a lie. As we got ready to pack up the other group that rented the house showed up! This sounds like a joke but it’s not. The other group was told we were leaving so they sat outside in their cars for more than 2 hours while we sorted out the situation. After many hours of lies and back and forth with Evolve (they were helpful but fed lies from the owners) and the property contact Melissa they agreed to let us stay. Other than that, the house has ants, the tile floor is popping up everywhere, the wifi password did not work after multiple attempts to get the correct password from Melissa who was slow to respond, ice machine doesn’t work, no air mattress as the listing shows, multiple smoke detectors need batteries, the propane tanks for grille were empty, the controllers for the PlayStation/DVD player are dead and there’s no chord to charge them with. The owners of this property are a disgrace. Evolve gave us a $300 discount which was nice and they were helpful in trying to resolve the issue but this was the worst experience I could have ever imagined. Rent this place at your own risk!

We had a great time - a stones throw from the mountain!!!

Property was mostly as described. Missing some essentials: certain rooms did not have blinds on the windows, kitchen could have used some pantry items, such as salt, oil, etc., wifi name and password were not what was listed in the email. Certain instructions in the book on the house were different than the emailed check-in instructions. Also, I emailed the guest contact our license plate numbers ahead of time. Security came the first day and issued citations for our cars. They did say that we did not have to pay them, but it’s still not a pleasant experience. The TVs had no cable. The beds were not listed as described, sizes were incorrect. Also, the listing said there was a blow up mattress, which we had intended to use and there was no blow up.

The house is as pictured.. the host was very nice and willing to help. Fridge stopped making ice at night.. melissa brough over 2 bags of ice and gallon of water. Very pleased.
