We had a lovely holiday in tranquil Devon. Plenty of space at this property so if the weather is not kind a day or two at the house is still very enjoyable. Everyone in Devon was very friendly despite the current situation.

We have all had such a great stay in Warleigh Lodge. Accommodation was superb, everything we needed from rooms to bbq, cutlery and space. The location was perfect for us. 10 minutes into Plymouth and 15 for visiting family. We particularly enjoyed the garden, conservatory and it’s wonderful views. There’s plenty of lovely places to visit in and around the local area. Will happily return. Thank you

We had a very enjoyable weekend stay in this charming property which is well situated between the city attractions of Plymouth and the rugged beauty of rural Dartmoor. Our host Barry had been very helpful before the trip and there was also local help if needed.. The property was spotless on arrival, and the heating was easy to operate and effective. The lodge was comfortable and well equipped. Lovely bath in the main en-suite, and we slept well in the four poster bed! But the main "Wow" factor for the Lodge is the large conservatory/dining room set at the back of the house which provides sensational views of endless fields stretching down to the River Tamar and beyond to Cornwall. We spent most of our time in this room watching farm and wild life, but, given the time of year,we were happy to retreat to the cosy fire in the sitting room once darkness fell. We enjoyed trips to Tavistock, Lydford Gorge and Brentor Church and were grateful to exercise our dogs straight onto a public footpath that runs from the front of the Lodge Thank you Barry - we hope to visit again.

We spent a long weekend enjoying the wonderful countryside in the knowledge we would return to a beautiful, snug cottage to rest in-front of a roaring log fire. The weather did not really matter as we would have been happy to stay in and read and enjoy the great views from the cottage. One for our return list!

We spent 10 days at Warleigh Lodge as part of an extended European holiday , stopping in Plymouth to visit relatives and to share Christmas and New year. The conservatory served as an ideal area to serve and enjoy Christmas lunch for seven.Overlooking the adjoining farmland towards the Tamar river it was a very picturesque setting with Pheasants and turtle doves adding to the Christmas feel. The conservatory was very warm and comfortable as was the whole property but it was the log fire in the living room that drew us into its embrace . We spent most nights during our stay feeing very snug in front of the slowly burning embers. The property itself is well appointed with all the things you require when on a holiday and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay here. Our winter vacation here was charming just what a Christmas should be.

Have stayed at lodge several times, very good position with lovely views, quiet area. Lodge is always clean and well maintained. I recommend this cottage for easy access to Plymouth, Cornwall and Dartmoor.
