Wow! What spectacular views of the harbour, Atlantic Ocean and this wonderfully designed house. So many little details and love were put into making this cottage special for each of it's guests. Bob has thought of every little thing. We really appreciate all the small touches. This town is incredibly friendly. Met some locals and had a lovely chat with them. God Bless Bob, his neighbour and the community of Petty Harbour. Alan Doyle inspired us to choose this spot for our honeymoon. We both will cherish our memories made here this week. My husband has a feeling we will definently be back sometime. Thank you Bob!!

I loved this harbour and cottage so much that I returned late September. Still had an opportunity to go cod fishing and enjoy downtown St. John’s. The weather was fabulous and the people warm and friendly. Definitely a keeper!

We were there for 10 days and could have stayed longer. The location as well as the cottage were beyond our expectations. The cottage was wonderful,cozy and stocked with everything you could imagine from toiletries , bathrobes, google home to great cooking utensils.It was so much fun cooking in the lovely kitchen . The owner Bob was also extremly helpful . I highly recommend it .

Petty Harbour is a quaint area less than 20 minutes from busy St. John's. We spend many fun evenings on the deck which overlooks the harbour-even barbecuing freshly caught lobster and cod. The kitchen has everything you need when you are not hopping into St. John's for the shopping and restaurants. What a relaxing place to be! The word "paradise" still does not describe this home away from home. Bob (the owner) was always available with information on where to go and what to see and how to get there. Petty Harbour welcomes all and not only charms with its history and lore. It is a fishing village that can take you back in time and to St. John's in 20 minutes.

A great view, fully equipped kitchen and gracious host. The location is terrific. Easy access to St John's and a short walk from a friendly cafe by the harbor. Two bedrooms with soft or firm beds ensured good sleeping following excursions out enjoying all that the Avalon offers. Wonderful place to stay while in Petty Harbor.

Had a great weekend here on Cottage Hill. A home away from home for sure!! Thanks to our hosts for a wonderful time!! I would recommend staying here if you need to get away and recharge your batteries!!!

I recently stayed at this beautiful cottage and was, upon entry, immediately impressed. The open concept, cozy décor and loads of light made it so welcoming. Once we settled in and took advantage of the real wood fireplace we found the kitchen to be perfectly outfitted for preparing our romantic dinner for two. The view from the kitchen was amazing – you could see all the boats in the quaint little harbor and even the ocean…the host mentioned that last Spring you could even see the icebergs. After dinner we had a cozy night in front of the fire watching movies on a big flat screen tv. The beds were so comfy with beautiful linens – for me this is one of the most important things travelling and this place didn’t disappoint. I cannot wait to go back this summer with friends as I hear cod fishing is a must and the many other fun things in Petty Harbor and nearby St. John’s to check out.
