Really nice modern apt.. good kitchen and bathroom spec. Accommodated a small family of 3 no problem for the 2 weeks. Beautiful view of the beach from the balcony. As mentioned in other reviews, lots of steps down to the beach.. no bother if your prepared! Thanks for a lovely stay!

Lovely traditional looking complex... lots of steps! Fine if you prepared for it! Very clean bright apartment with fab bathroom and great air con. Location good for Burriana and Nerja if you don't mind a short walk. However couple of issues - no mirrors except above bathroom sink... we actually bought a cheap long mirror for 9euro and left it there! Also outside terrace furniture was dirty and unkempt... one of the sun loungers was completely disintegrated. My husband tried to fix it with twine. The bedside lamp was broken. I messaged the owner via text and email about the lamp but no response. We arrived very late in evening and it would have helped if owner could have provided map of way in by road and location of apartment as it was quite confusing. The security guard helped us locate the apartment. We enjoyed our holiday. With some improvements this could be good apartment.

This beach apartment is totally amazing it has everything you need right on your door step, the pool and area are spotlessly clean and the gentleman who serves in the cafe is very helpful. The apartment is very comfortable and the bed has one of the best mattresses I have slept on when on holiday all the appliances appear to be new and the apartment is decorated to a high standard. I will definitely be back.

Beau petit appartement confortable et bien équipé dans un complexe dont l'architecture rappelle les villages blanc d'Andalousie. Une belle terrasse avec la vue en surplomb sur la plage de Burriana. D'ailleurs, pour s'y rendre et en revenir, on doit descendre et remonter deux cents marches à travers un magnifique jardin. Tout en haut, il y a une belle grande piscine au sel pour compléter la mise en forme. Autre petit luxe, un stationnement intérieur pour garer la voiture. Yolanda nous a accueillis le jour de notre arrivée et elle a répondu promptement à nos demandes par la suite.

"El Capistrano Playa" complex sits on top of the middle of Burriana Beach, with a great view of the Mediterranean sea. Our unit "713" is near the top of the complex with an excellent view of the sea. The full view is best enjoyed standing at the balcony's edge, but you can also admire the view sitting at the table, perhaps enjoying breakfast or a cup of coffee. When sunny, the place is gorgeous and it is a pleasure walking down the steps to the beach. One has to think twice about coming back up the 212 steps to one's unit. My wife struggled a bit with that and we found that one way of avoiding climbing up the steps was to either walk from downtown along the 340 to Avenida Chimenea or else take the bus to El Capistrano Playa [the last stop of the bus, which is a coupe of minutes walk to the complex]. The unit is simply furnished and has a good kitchen. We had a few problems with the TV, but these were sorted out with the help of the landlady. One thing we noticed was how cold the cupboards and built-in drawers are as well as the nice ceramic floors [I can understand the need for that in the hot Andalusian summers, but in the winter it was a challenge]. Having said that, there are air conditioning units in the living area and in the bedroom, that kept us warm at night. The bathroom is also quite modern and simple, but like the cupboards is cold. Our routine called for us to have breakfast in the apartment then walk down the steps to the beach. In January we hardly saw anyone using the stairs, but that changed by around the middle of February when we sometimes had small traffic jams on the steps. Once on the beach, we would have coffee by the beach or walk up by the Parador of Nerja to one of the down town nice little cafés. Returning late afternoon [to pick the clothes before the sun disappears behind the western side of the complex] we would spend the last hour or so on the balcony enjoying a snack. For most evenings we enjoyed being home, warm and cozy, except when we had a show, had dinner out or visited the caves. And of course there was also the Barcelona football games to watch. At the entrance of the Capistrano Playa, there is a big sign indicating that dogs are not allowed and indeed we never saw a single dog on site. All what we saw was a number of cats that seemed to be fed by the maintenance people [they must serve a purpose]. Going down and up the steps a couple of times a day [once to go jogging], I became friends with the maintenance staff who really do a good job. I recommend this complex for several reasons and also recommend unit 713 because of its location and view. I hope you may be able to visit and enjoy the place as we did.

Great Location, great facilities, lovely views etc. Perfect for a couple! There are a lot of steps to the beach so not suitable for wheelchair or perhaps the elderly.

Highly recommend this fantastic apartment - really modern, fitted with all mod cons. The view from the terrace of the beach is wonderful.

This is a beautiful one bed apartment. Clean and neatly renovated. All appliances are as new. Spotlessly clean. Yolanda couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. There's a large swimming pool in the complex and a mini mart for vitals. The complex is built into the hillside which affords splendid views of the sea from the balcony. It's 201 steps to Burriana beach. There's a very good small but well stocked supermarket at Burriana. Not a mega one, more local but has plenty. A short 8 euro taxi ride to centre of town. Highly recommended. Apartment is fully air conditioned and whisper quiet.
