Did the job!
This is a tricky one..... The arrangements and communications with respect to booking this home were great, it was easy to find and we were met at the property by one of the owner’s relatives who showed us round and pointed out the things that we needed to know. The property was clean and there was sufficient linen, towels, soaps etc. It was comfortable. It was a good stopover for us as we are a family of four with teenagers who could have their own rooms - we had just come off the two day rafting trip on the Pacuare and needed to get to La Pavona to get on an early boat the following morning so the location was ideal. It’s easy walking distance to Turrialba town and we had a lovely evening in a local restaurant celebrating Mother’s Day. The owner was really flexible and allowed us to leave the keys on the property as we were leaving very early the next morning. She was very kind in her communications to us and made us feel very welcome. However, the property is very basic from a European perspective. The kitchen area is rustic and pretty much outside and the owner’s dog was left on the property chained up outside the kitchen door so we did not use or even go into the kitchen. If what you are looking for is a quick overnight location within walking distance from the town this is ok but we wouldn’t have stayed any longer than we did. Thank you so much to Graciela for letting us use her home, it was extremely kind, exceptionally good value, and just what we needed.

Hospitality and great for local culture!
The reservation process and obtaining directions/information on the house was immediate and exceeded our expectations. We needed to stay in Turrialba enroute to our 2 day white water rafting trip in Siquirres; with a 17 year old and a 20 year old my husband and I felt the house was a great value. There are limited cooking options, which was not an issue for us, we walked to local restaurants. There was a little outside noise at night, but it was not disruptive. Gated place for our vehicle and steep driveway. Eugene was great to work with and even better his sisters that oversee the property!

Grannarna är väldigt vänliga, grundskolan och gymnasiet är nära, parker är nära, kyrkor, downtown är inte för långt kan du hitta en mängd restauranger busstationen ligger inte långt från detta hus, bussystemet är utmärkt med express service till huvudstaden San Jose, Turrialba har många floder och flodfall, det finns flera företag som erbjuder kajak turer, fallskärmshoppning, Turrialba har också en indisk reservpark och du kan se den simi-aktiva Turrialba vulkanen från många olika platser. Det finns många ställen för vandring, Turrialba har också laguner ett är namnet La Laguna de Bonilla ,, det finns flera pooler och många barer. Turrialba ligger cirka en timme och 45 minuter från Limon hamns östkust. Njut av Costa Rica PURA VIDA
