From arrival, through our entire stay, and even as we left, the luxury and indulgence of this gorgeous home was truly spectacular. The house itself is an architectural gem, with every bedroom featuring an uninterrupted view of the pool, the garden, and the ocean. The downstairs area, airy and open, with a gorgeous kitchen and sitting room, spills right out to the large infinity pool.
I loved the separate bungalow, with its own bedroom, bathroom, and lounge, and the oceanside veranda where we ate most of our meals.
Of course, as much as we loved the pool, being able to step across the garden to the quiet beach and splash into the water was spectacular. Walking along the softest sand on a shore that rarely saw another person, and then wading into the warm, calm sea, was everything I wanted from a beach retreat.
And... wow... the staff — always there when needed, but never overwhelming, bringing fresh breakfast to the veranda each morning, stellar Thai seafood spreads for lunch, and some of the tastiest traditional dinner dishes I'd had during our two week visit to Thailand. Being treated so kindly, being spoiled so constantly, being catered to from the time we woke up until we were winding down for the evening — magic.
I'm hoping it won't be too long before I can again enjoy the quiet indulgence of this beautiful villa.
