The apartment was simple but had everything that we needed. The air conditioners worked well. It is located about 200 feet from the water in a quiet part of town. We were able to walk to town along the shore within 10 minutes. I'd definitely recommend staying there.

Wedding weeks magic
I have stayed at Ela Marija Apartment on Hvar for two weeks in October for our wedding and it was beautiful. Wonderful views, spacious, fully equipped apartment, great hosts and beautiful Hvar made our wedding even more special.

Lovely house, friendly host, and so convenient to everything.
The apartment is part of a lovely house, surrounded by olive trees, flowers and lemon trees. The apartment itself is clean, well maintained and nicely decorated. There was also a nice balcony for us to sit in the shade drinking some beer/wine.
It literally took 2 mins to walk to the beach, and a nice 15 min walk along the lovely coast to the town center. It is close to some beach clubs, but they close around 9 PM, so in general the nights were quiet. There were drunken people talking loud in the middle of the night, but that is something you really can't avoid on the island - google to know the reason...
The host was super nice too. I received message from her one day before, to confirm our arrival time so we could be welcomed.

Basic but did the job!
A basic apartment that did the job! Probably not the best place for a family of 5 as very small but comfy beds, great view and easy access to the centre and the beach. Bear in mind at height of season you will drift to sleep with the beat of disco from the local island all night beach club! Highly recommend hiring a boat for the day - go down the steps to the beach and turn right. Lovely company just there who were super helpful.

Excellent amazing view
The apartment was brilliantly located a few mins walk to beautiful little beach all along the bay along a coastal path with steps just in front to take you along. Hola Hoola beach bar couple mins away and great fun for few drinks after the beach.
Town 10 mins walk away and loads of fab restaurants. Tao owner met us from boat and took us for early morning boat on return. Extremely hospitable and friendly host.
Apartment very spacious and everything you need, large balconies overlooking sea and watched beautiful sunsets.
Could not fault it. Would def stay again.

Service-minded ägare och bra läge
Nära till stan och bra ägare. Hämtade och skjutsade oss till färjan, hade koll på att allting var okej och trevlig. Fin terass och bra rum

Heel Vriendelijke Beheerder zeer behulpzaam
geweldige plek om te zijn, aan het strand een beachclub maar sávonds totaal geen last van. een aanrader in het begin niet zo'n goede ontvangst inernet over gesproken en die zelfde dag volle bak mijn complimenten. binnen 3 minuten aan het strand winkel om de hoek en 10 minuutjes wandelen naar het centrum. Wij hebben hier inieder geval erg genoten zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Lovely views, quiet appartment
A warm welcome form our host who met us off the ferry & drove us to the apartment (and back at the end of our stay) A bottle of local wine and a jar of home made jam on the table when we arrived!
There is a supermarket 3 mins walk away for anything you might need.
Spacious bedrooms, well equipped kitchen including an oven, and a balcony to watch the beautiful sunsets across the sea and islands.
We love to swim and the steps to the clear blue water were immediately below us.
The walk into the main town is only 15 mins

Bright, Roomy apartment with wonderful views!
Located just west of Old Town meant we were just minutes from a nearby quiet swimming area, and had fantastic views of ships coming and going and magnificent sunsets. The apartment was spacious and airy. Owners provide us with home made marmalade jam and a bottle of local wine! Easy 15 minute walk along a pedestrian path to all the restaurants, bars, clubs of old town. We could not get WIFI to connect to any of our devices, so we had to rely on internet from restaurants or cafes. Owner told us this often happens with US travelers. Wasn't a problem elsewhere for us in Croatia. Also, be aware that the Bubba Gump Club down at the nearby waterfront plays club music outside on their deck well into the night and can be heard in the apartment. Double pane windows cut down most of the music but we could still hear the faint THUMP/THUMP of the beat. Mornings were quiet and we enjoyed eating breakfast out on the deck in the sun overlooking the sea. Very good market was just a 5 minute walk and provided us all we needed. Parking space provided was also very much appreciated.

Great apartment and fabulous host
Theo could not have been more helpful as a host; picking us up from the ferry port and immediately confirming our onward plans and volunteering to drive us (he refused to accept any payment!) to Jelsa at 6 am on Sunday morning to enable us to make the Bol ferry at 7 am. The apartment itself was perfect for our needs. Clean, great location (directly behind Hula Hula bar and on the coastal path into Hvar town (a 15 minute gorgeous walk), and plenty spacious. Comfy beds, excellent shower, and a lovely welcome pack on arrival including local jam and little touches like tea and coffee for us to use during out stay. I would definitely recommend this place to others, and would 100% come back to stay at the same place again on my next trip to Hvar. Absolutely loved it. My only comment is that the decor of the apartment is slightly dated for my taste; but this in no way detracted from the stay; just if you were someone that cared about these things! We spent so little time in the apartment that we barely noticed it though - and when we were there - for example breakfast time sat out on the balcony with a sea view - it was so blissful that we barely noticed!
