What a beautiful villa, location and country. Dulio & his family are fantastic, they really make your stay feel homely. His family frequently bring over freshly picked fruit & vegetables. You need to ask them to book a meal at his neighbours farm - it's sublime!
We all enjoyed our time at Villa Nina, we loved the beautiful villa, garden, pool, scenery and of course, the weather!
Places to visit:
Dubrovnik - (Don't drive - parking is a nightmare, catch a boat from Cavtat or Mlini. While at Dubrovnik you should check out the obvious attractions like the walls, the cable cars and the stunning old town. There are some nice designer clothing boutiques too. If you're a game of thrones fan, you have to do the tour.
Cavtat - Is a lovely little town with plenty of charm. You can book jet skis, parasailing & a whole host of other activities. You can also book out boats and take trips on the red submarine. While in Cavtat it is recommended to eat at the Kamen Mali, it's just on the harbour. The food there is incredible.
Konavoski Dvori, Ljuta - The waterfall and watermills here are excellent and well worth a trip. There is also a restaurant there but unfortunately the food was very poor.
Prevalka - If you like exploring, this is a must visit location. It sits right on the southern tip of Croatia, its like a castle, overlooking the sea. The views over Montenegro are excellent, but the abandoned castle really is magnificent.
Cilipi - is well worth a visit, it is a beautiful little town which feels like they stopped the clocks 100 years ago. On Sundays you can get entry into the town and watch the folk dancing show which is great to see. It starts at 11am but get there early to secure your seat!
Overall, our trip was amazing. Thank you to Dulio and his lovely family for making us feel welcome. We recommend this place 100%!
