Property is well presented and located. Jolly Harbour has a vast number of entertainment locations and varies in all that they do. We loved it here and the owner was so accommodating considering it was at the start of the Coronavirus outbreak. Will look to return.

Great property, we rented the golf cart that was offered which was a great convenience. The villa was clean from top to bottom. TV remote didn’t work even after changing the batteries. So we has to revert to passed days where you had to get up and change the channel. LOL The ceiling fans on the waterside bedroom didn’t work and I would be concerned if it wasn’t fixed. It seem seized when the power is turned on and I would be worried that it might catch fire. While using the washing machine you could hear that the direct drive barring are going. None these these small issues I mentioned effect our holiday but I thought they should be noted. Would we stay again absolutely. Chris Graham

We had a wonderful stay in the house.It was well equipped and the management between the owner and HBK was very efficient. We particularly enjoyed having access to the golf buggy during our stay. the information leaflet sent out was also very helpful

We booked this villa for 3 weeks in March and had an amazing holiday. Paul was so helpful before we travelled so we had a very clear idea on getting around Jolly Harbour and the surrounding area. The villa was clean and spacious with everything we needed for a comfortable stay and such great value! We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck area in the evening. The location of the villa to the beach is brilliant, literally a 5 minute stroll. We did hire the golf buggy and I would urge anyone to do the same. The supermarket is around a 10 minute walk away and has everything you need. It’s not Sainsbury’s by any stretch of the imagination but the selection is very good. If you have not visited Antigua before Jolly Harbour makes a great base to get around.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Paul’s villa. It is centrally located within walking distance of the Jolly Harbour facilities, including the management office, restaurants and beach. A golf cart is helpful, especially for carrying groceries from the Epicurean, but otherwise not essential. We rented a golf cart for our stay but mechanical issues limited our use to one day. We managed fine without it. The villa is well maintained and furnished with necessities but a trip or two to the grocery store to replenish supplies like toilet paper and bottled water may be necessary. There are some excellent reataurants within the Jolly Harbour complex, especially Melini’s, a long-established fixture. We also ate at the Crow’s Nest and Akropolis, the latter featuring Greek food as implied by the name. Would recommend all, but especially Melini’s. We didn’t try the new Italian restaurant but it appeared to be well patronized. Castaways offers decent food in a beachfront setting. Be sure to order the pina colada at Melini’s. Not to be missed during a stay in Jolly Harbour are Sunday night at Shirley Heights and a circumnavigation cruise on Wadadli Cats.

This villa on the South Finger of Jolly Harbour is ideally located. It is a five-minute walk to Jolly Beach and ten/fifteen minutes to the supermarket, swimming pool and the various restaurants and shops. The information pack provided by the owners is exceptionally detailed, so it isn’t necessary for us to recommend restaurants and excursions. In fact, we didn’t stray far from the swimming pool and the beach. When we did, we took the bus to Carlisle Bay, Turner’s and Darkwood beaches; to St John’s for a mooch, and to English Harbour. We joined a group from the Starfish Hotel, and enjoyed Sunday at Shirley Heights. We had a wonderful restful holiday dipping into the nightlife on a couple of occasions. The villa works, it is tastefully decorated and feels cared for. The photos are an accurate reflection of the facilities. Very good showers, washing machine, iron, board, kettles etc. There are plenty of spare towels and linen available. We would very highly recommend this villa and would happily holiday here again.

Relaxing relaxing and relaxing

My family rented this condo for 8 days in Jan-2019. All interactions with Paul - from the initial inquiry to booking to a couple back & forth conversations during our stay to the deposit refund - were excellent. Paul is friendly, professional, and very responsive. The info package sent before our stay was informative. The condo was mediocre but did the job. Various minor issues e.g. very low water pressure, clogged shower drains, somewhat unclean showers upon arrival, towels smelling slightly of insect repellent, no blinds on the front door, in-room safe not working, front upstairs windows offering no soundproofing, off-smelling tap water, non-stick pan having been destroyed, etc… however these were only annoyances - not at all concerning enough to disrupt our stay - and offset by all the advantages of the condo e.g. air conditioning, private patio, ensuite bathrooms for both bedrooms, use of a golf cart, TV with lots of channels, somewhat stable public Wifi, etc. The mosquitos were annoying (& we didn't use the insect repellents in the condo as we were travelling with our 2-year old son) however this isn't a reflection of the condo, and mosquitos are simply part of life based on location and time of year. The location of the condo is great. Although not beachfront, it's within a gated community, in a quiet section, close to the beach, groceries, restaurants, and amenities. Restaurants within the community were good (e.g. Melini's, Al Porto, Castaway's), and restaurants within a 10-minute drive were excellent (e.g. Carmichael's, Sugar Club, Rum Bus, etc). Side-note: Be on the lookout for the fumigation truck as it occasionally drives along the main road through Jolly Harbor and blasts out a cloud of mosquito repellent. Jolly Beach itself was overall the best beach we visited (vs Darkwood, Turners, Pigeon Point, and an unnamed beach) considering length, sand quality, access to food/drink/restrooms, wave calmness, and access to excursions without driving to St John… so it was nice to be staying right beside it. The Jolly Harbour management desk was friendly and professional. Although they didn't end up fixing the in-room safe after being told about the issue early during our stay, they were kind enough to lend us a power transformer for our one non-220V device, and their rental beach towels were a great alternative to wasting luggage space with our own beach towels. Overall a good stay. Thank you again Paul for the condo and an easy rental process.

Not the best accommodation we have stayed in through H & Away, the Air Co kept breaking down instead of cold coming through it was very hot air and it had to be re-gassed every 2 days, the new washing machine leaked 3 times but they could not find the fault, Live roaches in the cutlery draw and food cupboard, the downstairs toilet was not fixed to the floor and moved when sat on.
