This is a gorgeous house with beautiful landscaping. Picking up the keys was easy, and the house is really impressively constructed and designed. We enjoyed the flowers and birds from the patio for breakfast, and the jacuzzi after hikes at night. There is also a view of the top of the volcano from the patio if the clouds clear. We'd love to return!

Just as advertised! Plenty of room, relaxing porch with wild birds in the trees. We loved the jacuzzi, and walking the property with Lorenzo. He showed us the sloth mama and baby and some birds including a toucan. We ate fresh bananas off a tree. The location was close to Fortuna (1.5 km?), but very quiet and relaxing. It was also very nice to be able to do some laundry mid way through our trip! We highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again if we are in the area.

We absolutely LOVED staying at Arenal Luxury Paradise!! The photo on VRBO doesn't do it justice; the trees and plants have grown up beautifully and you have your own tropical grove surrounding the house. It's a brilliant remake of a sea container with a lovely expansion to make a covered deck with private Jacuzzi, plus covered parking and laundry room. The interior is naturally small but well fitted with lovely hardwood floors and woodwork, a comfortable bed, all you need in the kitchen and bathroom, a good shower. Absolutely great lodging for a couple! We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the bird feeding station - saw some great birds right there! Lorenzo put out bananas every day to attract the birds and we added some of our own mangoes. It's very close to La Fortuna to access restaurants etc but out of town so it's peaceful. The nearby neighborhood also offers some good birding opportunities, but best of all is that Lorenzo and his father have a private nature reserve about half a mile away, and he will take you there to see what they've done to covert a cattle farm into a tropical paradise with little streams, ponds, tropical fruits and flowers, pollinator bee "hotels", gravel paths. It's amazing and so beautiful! - a haven for a huge variety of birds and wildlife and a delight for humans. We made several trips there and saw both two-toed and three-toed sloths (one with a baby!), two kinds of poison dart frogs, black-mandibled toucans nesting, tent-making bats, a green basilisk, many more kinds of birds. We HIGHLY recommend this place!! It was the best!

Situated about a mile outside of La Fortuna, this sweet little spot was perfect for catching our breath between adventures! The container house is small but great for 2 people, with the outside spaces that really made it dreamy. The property is filled with luscious and colorful plants, and every morning fresh bananas attracted a huge array of colorful birds! We watched them come and go over a cup of coffee every morning. The hot tub was also very nice, just give it time to warm up. A washer on-site was handy, and the carport too. You'll absolutely love it!!

The property was really great. It was located a little ways out of town and was very quiet and peaceful. It was very well equipped in the kitchen and we had everything we needed. Also the shower was by far the best water pressure of all the places we stayed in Costa Rica. We also hit the hot tub every night and had breakfast with the birds in the morning! Thank you for a great stay. We appreciated it.

Loved the space! Perfect for a get away with my boyfriend. The property manager even put out bananas in the morning for the birds to come to our property.

We loved our stay at this little house. It was clean, aesthetically pleasing and very comfortable with very thoughtful touches by the owner.

The home was exactly as described- beautiful backyard. The host even showed us a sloth on property that we never would have spotted. The bananas on the trees for the birds in the morning were great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable and the distance to town was just our slide of walking distance for us but a close drive (we were there to hike, so we spent our time walking trails and not the road- it’s a totally doable walk). The only downside is that the hot tub was not warm, which would have been nice post- hike. It served as a plunge pool during the day though. This didn’t negatively impact our stay at all.

This property was just as the description stated, a great little home for 2 people! It was in a perfect location to get to all the fun things that La Fortuna offers, plus when the clouds cleared it had great views of the volcano. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. One of our favorite mornings was us enjoying a nice cooked breakfast on the deck while watching the birds eat the fruit that Lorenzo (the owner) put in the tree for them! Lorenzo also took the time to come get my husband and me to show us a sloth on the property! Easy check-in and check-out process and multiple ways of communication so no questions went unanswered. Would stay here again if I were in the area!

Great place for 2 people. Fun hot tub. Nice use of a container. Very clean and well appointed. We would stay again
