We loved staying here! Everything is absolutely magical and so private (you barely see or hear the other guests). Everyone is so welcoming and informative— Dennis our ATV tour guide was absolutely amazing and that excursion on this property was our favourite part of the trip. Everything was so clean and so private yet close to town and only about 30 minutes to La Fortuna. We loved Milo the resident dog too! Esteban was always available for questions and recomendations which we appreciated very much. If you’re going to Costa Rica in this area, you must stay here! Highly recommend the ATV tours they are an absolute must.

The one disadvantage to this property is that it is outside of La Fortuna, so there is a small drive of at least 35 minutes to anything La Fortuna related. However, as you arrive to this property and start to realize what it has to offer then that drive you will have to make does not really matter anymore. There are many activities at this property as well such as simply swimming at their fantastic pool or riding horses and an ATV tour. The ATV tour will bring you to a hot springs as well. If I visit La Fortuna I would stay here again.

We had a wonderful time there, the only issue that I would list is that it's about 15 miles farther than what it shows on the map in the listing. That put us a little farther away from La Fortuna. That being said, the property, if you're looking for quiet and quaint it is awesome. The staff was incredible, came home to a perfectly clean bungalow everyday. Extremely quiet, we saw two other couples the entire time we were there and we were there for 6 days.

Wonderful place to stay. Beautiful views, great amenities, and close to local attractions. Awesome breakfast available for guests, too. So much more peaceful than staying in tourist resorts. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We only wish we had spent more time there. The villa was beautiful, location quiet, being able to be on a horse ranch was such a unique way to experience Costa Rica. The night sky was gorgeous for us, being in the country it was breathtaking. Thank you! We will definitely consider staying again.

We stayed at 3 different locations in CR but this was our favorite. Peaceful, beautiful. Accommodations were fantastic! The property manager Dennis, Manuel and Marie were the best, friendly and helpful. If and when we get back to CR, we plan to stay here again!

It was extremely restful and enjoyable experience off the beaten path from the touristic areas of Arenal. Really enjoyed the ATV tour to the hot springs.

The view from villa Ilan Ilan was simply amazing. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here and recommend the horseback riding!

Beautiful, quiet, peaceful place. Wonderful hosts, staff, amazing villa with stunning views of the horse farm(&water buffalo). You have access to walk the property, meet the horses and take in the surrounding beauty. we would definitely recommend anyone to stay here if they are in search of relaxation and beautiful views with very helpful and accommodating hosts.
