The interior of the home was clean, the outdoor areas were huge, beautiful, and relaxing. Great info about the home was given at check in and Marco was available throughout the stay for questions or to point out wildlife when it was near. 100% I would stay here again.

The property is beyond beautiful, and we had a blast. Short walk to town, quiet and peaceful, Marco and his family always available but discreet. In other words 10 out of 10 .

This is the first place we stayed on a 11 night journey through Costa Rica. We stayed at the property for 3 nights and it was an absolutely perfect property for us. We were a group of 11 people, 4 adults and 7 children ranging from age 3 to 15. Our children LOVED the pool and joyfully played in it each night while it rained (after we’d explored the Fortuna area all day). The property was truly beautiful, with so many flowers, trees and wildlife. From the lovely outdoor space we saw SO MANY birds (thanks to Marco putting out fresh fruit for them each morning). The favorite bird siting was on our first morning when we watched 2 toucans hang around the property all morning. We also heard and saw SO many howler monkeys, lizards and frogs from the verandah. Leticia and Marco were kind and gracious hosts who checked in on us frequently. They provided us fresh bananas one morning and our children ate them up so quickly… then they declared them the best bananas ever. As we were leaving, we asked if they had one more for our 3 year old and they provided another entire bag of fresh bananas to go. They were divided up eaten by our families within minutes of leaving. We loved that the house was a little removed from the bustle of the Main Street, yet close enough to walk downtown. There was a delicious restaurant around that corner (Tiquicia) where we had casadas and fresh juice. On our last morning, we ventured down the street a 5 minute walk to El Salto rope swing for a fun free thrill. I would 100% recommend staying at this lovely home and I will hopefully return with my family again in the future. Thank you Marco and Leticia. ❤️

We had an amazing time here! The property is spacious and attracts a lot of wildlife, including monkeys, a toad, leaf cutter ants and lizards. Marco keeps a bird feeder that had many different exotic birds flying in and out all day. Perfect for photos. Very close to town. It was so relaxing and comfortable. Marco and his daughter, Leticia, were wonderful hosts. Pura vida!

The house & location were incredible! Beautiful location. Nice and quiet with forest right behind the house. We woke to howler monkeys a few mornings, it was incredible. The owners live in the front house on the property & were really helpful with anything. We loved our stay!

We had a wonderful stay. House was perfect for our family. It was great to be close to the center of La Fortuna but yet secluded in nature. We saw a variety of birds and enjoyed exploring the backyard.

Marco, Marlene & Leticia were amazing hosts! They are super hosts and are very responsive and communicate well and promptly. They offered great advice and recommendations on things to do in the area and restaurants to try out. The four of us stayed for 4 weeks in this lovely vacation home. The house is beautiful and has everything you will need to feel at home, including every kitchen utensil and appliance you could need inclusive of a coffee bean grinder. We used the dipping pool to cool off and used the BBQ area to grill and eat a few times. The deck allowed us to eat outside and have our morning coffee while watching the birds that Marco feeds each morning. The property is on a couple of acres and allows for privacy and a comfortable feeling of solitude and peace. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and is even within walking distance to buy groceries and explore the area. We asked for some yoga mats and they were provided. I asked for some surprise arrival flowers to be purchased and the hosts willingly did this for me. Marco, Marlene and Leticia do their very best to please. If you have the opportunity to stay here, take the time to look at the art work displayed on the wall. Many of the beautiful paintings are painted by Marlene, who is an awesome artist. We had a great time and we loved our time here and would definitely come back! Could not have asked for more, thank you so very much Marco, Marlene & Leticia.

Very nice home near La Fortuna tucked away just outside of town providing lots of privacy. Home had everything we needed. Owners (Marco and Leticia) were extremely helpful including arranging shuttle from the San Jose airport. Nearby restaurants were excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect! Close to town. We loved walking down to the salto for a refreshing swim. Enjoyed all of the birds eating fruit in the yard. Nice quiet and peaceful surroundings. Fantastic!!

Marco & family have a beautiful property just minutes away from downtown La Fortuna, and a short walk to a waterfall alongside the road that you can jump into. The property itself is beautiful and looks exactly like the pictures. You can luxuriate in a newly built pool while wildlife skitters around. In the mornings, Marco puts out melon behind the house so that you can see some of the larger birds and wildlife feast (really cool!). They are excellent hosts and very responsive. We couldn't have been happier.
