This cabin was a great place for my family of 3 to spend 3 nights during our time exploring the la Fortuna area. Plenty of hot water, a full kitchen that was well equipped and a great loft that was fun for our teenaged daughter. The breakfast at the hotel next door was good and only $4.00! Good communication with host.

The house was perfect for our family of four. Communication was excellent, it is a very private quiet location, and the A/C worked great! We saw toucans, colorful frogs, and many hummingbirds on the property. We couldn’t find the swimming hole that was pictured in the listing though. A car is needed, since it is a 10 minute drive from town.

Simply a paradise. The house is so nice with two beds for kids on the second floor. Big bed for the adults. Everything we needed was there (plates, forks, blender, soap, etc…) The land was so huge. Plenty of place for the kids to play and walk, fruit trees, chairs, hamac… We have access to the pool which was really appreciated. The location is perfect if you have your car. 5-7 minutes of the village and 15 minutes from La Fortuna activities. Alfonso received us and was very helpful. Offers activities but doesn’t put any pressure to take it. I will recommand strongly this place. The price is very fair.

We arrived in la fortuna and first off had a hard time finding the office. After that the people were nice, but they gave us a map where they just hand drew a line indicating where to continue driving and where the house was. We drove for at least 45 minutes looking for house. Once arrived house did not look clean and beautiful as in pictures. It was very small and in pictures it looked to have 2 bedrooms. Not at all the case it had 1 bad in the kitchen and 2 beds in a loft with a ladder going up to them . The bed in kitchen looked as though someone slept on it as it was wrinkled and dirty. Bathroom was not very clean and the entire place was in desperate need of dusting!! We quickly decided that this was not a place we could sleep and left. We did not stay in the house more than 10 mins and still paid for the 2 days. Very disappointed with the misleading picture on Vrbo!!!

This place was amazing! The property is beautiful outside and so peaceful. And inside was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning and hot water worked great. The location was perfect for us. It was a short drive into town and super easy to find our way around. The pool is located at the hotel right next door and they have a little game room with a pool table there too. There’s a path from the house that takes you right there. I definitely recommend staying here! We loved it!

Great little house snuggled in with nature. We really enjoyed location and stay. Wi-fi and air worked great.

This place is great. It’s about a 10-20 minute drive into La Fortuna depending on your destination. It’s in a quiet area with lots of greenery and wildlife sounds. :) There is a small hotel next door with a nice pool and this property includes access. There is a private pathway to the hotel grounds where there is also a small restaurant. You can buy their standard breakfast (fruit, eggs, rice and beans, and toast) for $4 and it’s really good! The screened in porch at the house is a great place to sit and listen. Beds are fairly comfy, kitchen is well equipped, and the AC works well. There are ants but we also experienced that elsewhere in Costa Rica. Overall, this is a great place to spend part or all of your time in Costa Rica, and I hope to return!

It was a great experience. Kids had a great time walking around the property and looking at all the nature. Access to the pool was real nice however we found ourself driving into town and hitting up the hot springs. A car is a must as it is about 5-8 min drive into town.
