Stoney Nook is a wonderful detached 3 bedroom holiday home, just 4 miles from the pretty harbour town of Padstow, in the small farming hamlet of Trenance. It is perfectly located for exploring the local beaches and towns of the North Cornish coast, and yet only 30 minutes from the Eden project and 40 minutes from Mevagissey and Fowey on the South coast. The nearest beach is at Trevone, a 12 minute drive, with 6 further sandy bays just beyond that. All are wonderful to explore and offer great surfing and family days out. It has superfast broadband and a EV charger (charged at 20p/Kwh at night in Jan 2022) • Living Room – Large fireplace with log burner (unlimited logs are supplied), Sky TV with Sky sports and films, Netflix, lots of games and jigsaws • Kitchen-diner – well-equipped kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, induction hob, wine rack and large oak table, seating 8 • Utility Room & Downstairs toilet – with washing machine and tumble dryer • Bedroom 1 - super-king bed with feather duvet and ensuite bathroom • Bedroom 2 – zip-link super-king bed, which can be configured as a double bed or 2 singles, plus a single sofa bed (120cm wide), suitable for 1 person • Bedroom 3 – Small room with bunk bed with standard double bed (135cm wide) on the bottom and single on the top • Family bathroom – with shower and bath The house has a garden which children will love exploring. The garage has been converted into a lovely table-tennis room. There is a patio area, outside table and chairs, Weber BBQ, firepit, bird table (bird food supplied) and a small grassed area. There is a large shed for storing wetsuits & beach equipment and some boogie boards and outdoor games are available to borrow. The driveway is sloping and has parking for 3 cars. One well-behaved dog is welcome, by prior arrangement, but please be aware that the boundary is not totally secure for a dog who is intent on escaping. At the back of the house there is a typical Cornish boundary, where a small wall has been overgrown by vegetation, and it would be possible for a determined dog to jump over. However, we have never had a problem so far with any dogs escaping. Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture. No puppies please - thank you. Opposite Stoney Nook is a farm and a farm machinery maintenance business. Please take care on the roads as there are often tractors around. Changeover day is Saturday, with short breaks possible in the winter. Arrival time is 4pm and departure 10am. All linen and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towel. Children are welcome, although the house is more suitable for the over 5’s as there is no cot or high chair.Mer
