“I behov av städning och renovering.”

Läget var bra, nära till stranden, shopping och restauranger. Vi var där i 3-veckor, ingen pool de första 14 dagarna renovering pågick, ingen information om det. Det saknades en hel del i köket om man vill laga mat. Madrasserna var absolut inte bra man kunde känna fjädrarna i ryggen inte alls skönt, När vi sa ifrån då fick vi klara besked att de nyligen byt madrasserna. Vi fick använda madrassen från bäddsoffan i sängen för att kunna sova. Lägenheten var sliten och riktigt smutsig, gardinerna har nog inte tvättas sen de var nya. Riktig dålig och smutsig 2-sits soffa i vardagsrummet/matrummet. Det var 4-stolar vid köksbordet, en stol var sönder och det sa vi ifrån direkt men vi fick nöja oss med den kassa stolen, det var riktigt jobbigt att sitta på den. (vi var 4-personer och behövde alla stolarna). Vi fick 4-badhanddukar och två mindre handdukar till 4-personer.
Det var livligt hela natten, lyhörd lägenhet fast vi stängde fönster och dörrar. Vi kan inte rekommendera denna lägenhet till barnfamilj eller äldre. Lägenheten passar utmärkt till yngre människor som älskar att festa hela natten. När städningen som ägaren ville utföra själva kostar 110 euro kan man begära att städning utförts på ett proffsigt vis.

Thank you very much for you taking time to share your concerns regarding this apartment. A big thank you for the positives which you mentioned. We are appreciate your input, and will fix few small things you mentioned.

I am very sorry to hear you didn´t fully enjoyed your stay with us, as we take very serious what my clients say and desire. Regarding mattrasses, as I explained you previously and I am very sorry again, we had it changed few weeks ago, as previous clients commented they were very hard, and they wanted something softer, so we bought 4 new ones - SOFT, and put them instead. You should appreciate that all the people have different requirements regarding that, and some of them want soft ones, and some want hard mattrasses. We definitely cannot provide you the same mattrasses as you have at your home. And since we had previous 4 mattrasses stored in the cabinet in your apartment (the hard ones) we could change them for you on the spot - but you still didnt´want us to change them, so presume it was not really important to you.
The few things you asked to be fixed or changed were done the same day (extra cleaning tools and materials, and one of the lamps was changed), and additional glasses for wine being purchased, so whatever you was asking was done.

As you can imagine regarding the pool, I could not feel the water in the pool myself :)). And if Community office decided (choosing the less popular and less occupied period of the year) to make a total cleaning with desinfection and change of the water as per security and health requirements, there are very few things you or me can do... One of them is probably going to the beach on the Ocean instead... for example... :))) Which was only 70m away from the Complex... :))

I also did mention to you but not in my review, the fact we had a transfer booked for you AS PER YOUR REQUEST, and I had a minibus expecting you in the airport, exactly in the point which we agreed with you, but you finally decided to take a taxi and go to the resort directly, withour even ringing and informing me about it, and I had pay the transfer myself.
I also forget the fact (as I understand that people on Holiday relax and do these things), that we had few complaints from your neighbours and Community office about your noisy behaviour, which fortunately enough had place only 2 or 3 times...
The rest of the things (like cleaning and curtains) are probably not even deserved to be commented, as unfortunately I do not think you are completely honest, and I can feel you still very upset with the facts I mentioned above, so know where all these "dissapointments" are coming from. :)
Once more to say THANK YOU for staying in my property, and for leaving it in a clean and organized state, which is much appreciated. Wish you all the best, and Best wishes for Merry Christmas and very Happy New Year and lots of good luck to you and ALL your family!!

I should also add that it was my pleasure to communicate with Gill and her family, and I really appreciated clean and organized apartment they left after their stay. I will be more then happy to see them in one of my properties again in future, and definitely will recommend these guests to all other owners and hosts in the TripAdvisor´c Community. Thank you very much for taking time and sharing your experience regarding tour stay.

Just to answer your few statement:
1. Property is on the second floor, after ground and first floor.
2. This property is called Duplex, so it is obvious (I believe) it is on 2 floors. :))
3. There are several photos in my advert, where you can see the stairs between first and second floor of this Duplex, you can see also the layout of both bedrooms and the both bathrooms.
4. There is a lift in this building, but I never mention this lift in my advert since you have to do 30m walking to find it.
5. There is no air conditioner in this property as per my advert, neither ever had it my advert.
6. There are bars and restaurants everywhere in the town, if you staying 8n main promenade of Playa de Las Americas or Los Cristianos.
a) But these bars are definitely much more quiet then what they heard from my property when you stayed there.
b) 100% also it is much cleaner, comparing to what you left in my apartment... :((
7. If you don't want to pay for what is charged in the pool area (sunbeds, hammocks, drinks, breakfast, etc) just don't take it, or consume it where it is cheaper, since all these are optionals.. ;)

It is quite obvious why it took you 5 months after your holiday was over to write your review.

I wrote mine, together with a complaint to Trip Advisor, the same day and very same moment you left, since I was so much disgusted and horrorised with state of my property, that you left after your stay.
I reported about you that:
"Unfortunately (and this happened to me first time), this family is not type of guest I would advice to anybody. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!! :((

Apartment was in horrible and disgusting state when they left, and it was extremely dirty and I would say FILTHY:
tolilette paper was scattered throughout whole apartment, it was horrible smell and unbelievable mess in all the toilettes, as after using it, nobody bothered to flash the water, and I had to do that when checking these people out; there were opened and half-full and empty cans of bear and bottles of Bacardies and alcohol everywhere, the bits of food - like rests of sausages, cheese, bread, opened packs and melted chocolate, liquids, - everywhere - on the floor, on the terraces, on the bedside tables, food marks on the sofas, and on the windows, and there were rests of strange "cigarettes" with unfinished butts everywhere... The strong odor of the cannabis and some other unknown to me substantions could be even smelled from outside... :((

When on the 2-nd day of their stay they asked me to bring one more copy of the keys, which I did, they were VERY drunk as well and it was like 1pm, and I had to stay in front of the door like 30 min before somebody opened me, to deliver them keys as per their request, and man who opened me was rude and very agressive screaming on me why did I come and why did I bother him. Only today, when checking-out they informed me they lost one set of the keys for the apartment and pool gates, and without even informing us they went to do a copy of the extra key which I brought them.

All the beddings were on the floor under their feet, and fridge was full of opened bottles, cans, drinks, which were not staying, but laying on the shelves, and it was also extremely filthy. The kitchen was full of rubbish bags, which I believe nobody was taking out for the whole duration of their stay - 9 (!!!) days... :(
On their last day these guests asked me to stay longer and to check out at 4pm instead of 10am, which I did accept and was kind and stupid enough to allow them to do so. When I arrived to do a check-out at 4pm nobody was opening a door again, and I was ringing like 10 minutes and knocking the door. When one of them came out, I noticed they were totally drunk again and hardly could keep balance and stay on their feet. I had to leave, and wait for another 25 minutes until they could pack their bags and suitcases...

They also lost the cover box from the wi-fi router which I provided them as per their request, and the same and again absolutely drunk man was telling me nonsense and very rude things, which his wife asked me to ignore. They couldn´t remember where the keys could be, and they were not sure where they could leave it, which means I will have to change the lock for this door.
I should´ve charge these people not a cleaning fee but a 5 times extra cleaning fee, and probably keep their Damage Deposit, but I didn´t do that, I just wanted them to leave, and had to accept the state of this property as nothing could be done or explained to them - AS THEY WERE TOTALLY DRUNK!!!! :((

I definitley will DISADVICE these people to all other owners and hosts, and my best advice will be to stay away from this group, and be very careful if accepting them, as your property might be in a big risk of being destroyed, left in horrible and filthy state, and probably with Police envolvement due to the substations they were using which are illegal in Spain... :((
Wouldn´t desire these people even to my enemies... DISGUSTING AND HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!"
Trip Advisor responded me that:
"We are sorry to hear about the unpleasant experience with your recent guest. In such situation whenever a owner needs to pay extra money due to the damage at the property or extra cleaning a owner can go ahead and charge it to the guest, if there is a damage deposit mentioned on the booking. Also if the guest is doing party at your property states that the party is not allowed you can call us and report about the issue, so that we can take the necessary action.
Upon checking the details we noticed that you have not mentioned any damage deposit due to which you will not be able to retain any money. However, we have sent an email to the guest informing about the same and have requested them to contact you and try to resolve the issue."

Yours was a god lesson to me, and ibtook some notes on biard.
So now can only wish you a good luck, and take care if yourselves.
And kindly will ask you - PLEASE, STAY AWAY FROM MY PROPERTIES.
HOPEFULLY NEVER AGAIN!!! :((
