Our large family of 12 stayed over the weekend and we had a nice stay. We found it clean and the service was just fine . Rooms were clean & comfortable . Yes the valet is not optional but we knew that ahead of time . We would book again . God location.
We usually stay at Hilton hotels and have always enjoyed them. Especially a Homewood suites. The hotel is very nice. It’s brand new. With that said, it was so disorganized. First, I don’t understand the thought process of only allowing valet parking during a pandemic. Especially when I observed the valet staff getting into cars without sanitizing their hands and wearing their masks down. And they gave us a hard time when we wanted to park ourselves The check in is at 3pm according to a plaque on the wall. When we arrived at 4 our room was not ready. As a matter of fact, there were many families waiting either in the lobby or outside for their room. Our room was clean. However, there were definitely fleas. I understand this is a pet friendly hotel but that’s unacceptable. We had bites and saw fleas. The breakfast was ok. I know because of the pandemic it’s limited but some days we only had bagels. Another time we had no utensils or containers for the food. It was just so disorganized. I think our last straw was when I found a tick on me. That’s when we decided to just leave. I will say that the staff was very nice and friendly, for the exception of the valet staff. …
Was not aware the vallet is "not" opitional if you want to park at the hotel, and it's very unorganized and slow. I perfer to park my own vehicle and not let a stranger in it. Girl at check in was not friendly to me or the potential guest she was talking to on the phone. Of course the hotel was nice considering it has only been open for a couple months but they did leave used pods in the coffee maker which tells me they don't sanitize as well as they would like you to believe. The refrigerator made a loud noise all night long that made it difficult to fall asleep. The hotel is within walking distance of the Old Town which was nice but overall with this being a "brand new" hotel I expected much better service. They had a way of making you feel more like a bother than a guest.
Horrible hotel , stay away . Guest manager Julian Sandoval talking horribly about his fellow workers . This place is so dirty everywhere . Mandatory valet parking . Bathrooms are gross . Book somewhere else I am officially done with Hilton brand .
