Positiv: Situationen i Tossas gamla centrum nära restauranger, barer, shoppinggator och strandrummet: bekvämt och rent.
Kunde vara bättre: Frukost: liten buffé, inte i korrespondens med priset.
Negativ: mycket kall pool med solstolar i dåligt skick.

Dear Rolf, Thank your for an excellent review. Excellent, because you share your observations in a constructive way. It is refreshing and I will use them to improve our hotel and our services. Let me also answer to your comments. Our breakfast is "custom made". That means that every guest can order the boiled/fried eggs, tortillas, bacon and sausages exactly how they like them. I know this takes a bit more time than offering one standard type of preparation but I see it as an extra service. I will check if we can speed up this process. Before opening the hotel this year in March, we bought a lot of new plants, garden flowers, etc. Because of the months of heat we had with almost no rain, it was very difficult to keep them in a good condition. It is not helping that they are all day exposed to the sun light. But we have decided to buy new plants and flowers this week to give the garden an injection of coulors and aroma. The lamps in the stairway are nice, just like you say. However they come with a problem that I am still trying to fix. That is the light bulbs. They turn black quickly after using them only for a few hours. When they are on it doesn't stand out so much but when they are off it looks like they are broke. During the day time we have every other light put on in the stairway to your room. Many guests think the other ones are broke, but they are not. They appear to be because they are black. During the night all of the lamps are working and you don't notice the blackness of the ligt bulbs. I am looking for other light bulbs for many years now, but so far without any succes. But I respect your comment and heard it before so from now we will have all the lamps working 24 hours a day. It doesn't solve the problem but it will look better for the guests. We do have a hands on manager. His name is Michele Carpini and every day he has his lists of things to repare or change. We allready have been talking about your review and took good notice of it. Dear guest, I am sorry you didn't like your stay in Tossa de Mar. I think it is only fair to give my opinion about your review. Check in time at Casa Granados is at 14.00. You arrived at 10.30, were tired and as your husband explained me later, just had a bad experience in another hotel. Gemma stopped her actual work and went to clean room 5 right away up on your arrival because our guests of the night before just left. She did this knowing you were tired. Meanwhile you couldn't wait and already entered the room meaning Gemma had to clean the room moving between you and your suitcases. Not an ideal situation but she did the best she could. You checked in the room at 10.30, used your room the whole day, showered and than at 20.00 o'clock went to the reception complaining that the room was not as clean as it should be. Knowing what happenend in the morning, this surprised me but I told to Gemma to do an extra cleaning knowing you would be out for,a while. It was good to hear from your husband that he was very pleased with this unexpected service. You also say in your review that you don't consider Casa Granados to be a Boutique Hotel. This is something I can not dispute because it is your personal opinion and I do respect that. But it is good to know Hotel Casa Granados has been nominated in two categories for Best Boutique Hotel in the world 2017. During a celebaration in London the winners will be anounced and we will inform our guests about the result. Casa Granados has been open since 2013. The materials used in our rooms are of the highest quality. Every year we do an update and intensive cleaning. Offcourse you are still entitled not to appreciate our hotel or our work. I would have loved that you had enjoyed more your stay with us. This is always our mission. Have a good time in Barcelona and a save trip back to Australia. Best wishes, Caspar Zoetmulder.

Do you need to book the restaurant on Saturday night? is there a menu you can view anywhere and how expensive is it? think you.
Hello, Thank you for your interest in our restaurant, Can Sophia. It is always better to book in advance, especially on Saturday evening. We have a menu of that consists of two appetizers followed by 3 courses. For each course you can choose between 5 different plates. is this hotel far from town as I am disabled is it hilly where its situated thank you
