At the airport you have to make sure you get to terminal 2 as that is where the RER B is at. Take that to Gare du Nord. From there, switch to the Metro 5 train heading in the direction to Place d'Italie. You'll take that for 4 stops to Estación de Oberkampf and its just a quick 5 minute walk to Hotel Fabric. If you have Google maps on your phone you can see the transit directions.

Paris is one of my favorite cities and I have been there many times. I always have a car and driver meet me at the airport since I stay at different hotels and sometimes take public transport back. This past time I stayed at Hotel Fabric and our arrival was the very first Saturday of the Yellow Vests protests so the hotel told us not to take a car but to take public transport. The RER went from the airport to the metro and it was easy to find the hotel after getting off the metro although I was with a friend who has a great sense of direction, I do not. There are also often other protests in Paris and one time in a car back to the airport the taxi drivers had a protest and blocked the road to the airport so we had to get out and walk with our bags so I'd say check carefully if a car might incur delays. Do be forewarned though that often in the metro you have to go up very long stairs which can be a problem with luggage. I travel very light. I'd email the hotel and follow their advice.
