I can´t help but agree with your description of how the resort is "all-inclusive without the all-inclusive feel." I must say that nothing motivates me more to know that my staff, from pre-arrival, all the way to your departure, was able to customize certain aspects of your stay, making this an exceptional experience for you, your wife, and young baby. One of the most important facets of a successful operation is the ability to show a "human face" toward the guest at all times. All companies have policies and processes in place as a framework for their business. I plan to stay there with a 7 and 12 year old. Can the 12 year old enter the Teen club? One answer from a Property Representative on this forum says 12 year olds and older can enter, but the website description says 13 years and older. Can you please clarify?

We're coming up on a 40th anniversary, and possibly looking at GVLC. We've been to Cabo 16 times, all at AI. My only reservation about trying this place is that we strongly prefer adults only. ** Are there any restaurants here that are adults only? Can a couple truly have an adults-only experience here? How?
Although it is stated that "Cocina De Autor" is 16+, they do make exceptions to that rule. But for the most part, that is mainly an adult restaurant. I would highly recommend this resort for your anniversary celebration as it is TOP NOTCH and you should not be over-run by kids running around. There is no obnoxious music being blasted pool side (and the pool closest to the ocean is an adult only infinity pool and pretty well observed as such). No "sporto-clad" young man trying to get you involved in pool games, no elevator tag or kids running down hallways and in lobbies. It is truly a beautiful resort. I have teenage boys that are used to cruise ship excitement and Cancun activities and they loved relaxing at Grand Velas and say it was their favorite vacation because they were pampered. Honestly, the hotel does not run at capacity (I'm guessing that is due to the price) and when we went over 4th of July, there were very few kids, and those that were there hung out in the kids/teens club for the most part. Go, you'll love it!

Is your beach at Cabo safe and “swimable” for the kids? The Riviera Nayarit beach in Banderas Bay is perfect!
Dear Melgr51, Thank you for considering Grand Velas Los Cabos for your upcoming vacation. Although we have cabanas and loungers placed on the beach, we do prohibit our guests from entering the swirling waters of the Sea of Cortez because on top of everything, our number one priority is your safety and that of all our valued guests. However we do have Some beaches not to far one of them is "Chileno Bay", in case you need transportation we have taxis on site which are completely safe and the same taxi can pick you up you at the time you want yo back to the resort, the approximate cost is $20 usd one way.
