Los Establos Boutique Inn Frågor och svar

Rankat som nummer 5 av 29 B&B/värdshus i Boquete
Boston, Massachusetts

I bought likely the same thing last night at a charity auction fro $4,250.00.

I just began my research and your's was the first thing I read!

How concerned should I be?

Thank you.

George Lewis in Boston.

January is the best time to go. We have family in Panama City so Boquete was just a stop off for us. The Panamanian people are very kind and helpful. Also they have a Festival in January of Coffee and flowers . It's all worth seeing. We did a coffee tour when we were there and it was very interesting.

I don’t think you should be concerned at all. We had an incredible week there, and we loved everything about it. You made a generous contribution to an organization you support and I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful time in Panama.

I think that most of us paid different prices for this trip. All of the money that you spent for the trip goes to the charity. The hotel makes its money off of amenities i.e. the all inclusive package. It’s a per diem per person fee. But it’s worth it. The hotel is not luxurious but we upgraded to a suite which was large, had a nice big sitting room and faced the property grounds and the volcano. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. If you don’t want to eat at the hotel every night, there are several good restaurants about 5-10 minutes away. It’s not a walk though unless you don’t mind quiet an uphill walk after dinner. The activities are great fun. The white water rafting is a full day with a three hour going and coming bus ride. The zip lining has 12 zip lines so be prepared for either great pleasure, or as for me, pure terror. If you have time spend a day in Panama City and see the old town and the canal. It’s fascinating to see. Great restaurants, too. And go during dry season. It stays pretty muddy up there anyway. We went in March and the weather was a little cool but very nice. The staff is incredible. Don’t have any concerns what so ever.

We really enjoyed our stay. We also, like most guests, bought our certificate at a charity auction. We paid $500, but paid an additional all-inclusive fee per person per day. Yours may have been included in what you paid.

The hotel is not 5 Star, but nice. We did the meal plan/ tour package. Worth the extra money. Tours were all very good. Food was very good for boutique hotel. Service was outstanding. Staff will do whatever it takes to make you happy. We went in mid February and weather was perfect.

George Lewis,

It's likely you will meet other visitors there that also got their package from a charity event. There's certainly nothing to be concerned about!

I won't lie and tell you that you got a great value or good deal, but that's not the purpose of charity events.

If my memory serves me correctly, you'll have at least a year to plan the trip. Given that the resort is next to a rain forest, I would look up the best times to go, or at the very least, call Elite Island Resorts and get their advice about booking dates.

I think you'll have a great time, it's a wonderful place to travel to!

-Doug

P.S.- I took my family to the beach for the second part of our trip. Explore Bocas Del Toro and Boca Chica online if you want to add some island hoping on the front or back-end of your trip.
