I have a blue badge do I have to pay for parking
Parking is horrendous in Brighton. There are blue badge places but whether there are any near the hotel I am afraid that I do not know. I suggest that you ask the hotel. However, if you are able to avoid using a car I would advise you do so - Brighton is the least friendly place to park anywhere in Britain with the most unfriendly rude and unhelpful parking attendants I have ever encountered anywhere in the UK or elsewhere in Europe. Surprising as Brighton is one of my favourite places to visit but I NEVER take my car.
Go to Brighton & Hove Councils webpage and they have a leaflet you can download on how you can use a blue badge there.
You would need to check with the hotel, as I am unsure about parking round there.
A blue badge is usually acknowledged around Europe, so I imagine they would have spaces available. But definately check with the hotel prior to your holiday.
But I must say, I wouldn't drive unless absolutely necessary... It's quite crazy on the roads. They don't seem to drive very sensibly, and they don't seem to abide by lanes (like in UK) very strange...
