great venue to host a huge event!! This place is close to a lot of restaurnts and close to the twelve oaks mall.

Very large event space. At the multiple events we have been to, you have to pay to park at each one, which I am not a fan of.

This is the first year I’ve venture to the State Fair in Novi, the lines where hours long, for everything, food , rides and all. I am aware we are in the mist of COVID-19, however more help is needed to run the booth. My family and I spent a total of $88 on wristbands and tickets to only be able to get on one ride in the two hour we stood in the line. The food lines were just as long if not longer. This was the ultimate waste of time and money, If the fair organization can’t do any better in Novi if should be moved to a different location.

Daughter had a gymnastics meet here and it went very smoothly.
Easy parking and entry to the facility. Event was clearly called out once you got inside and easy to find where we needed to go. Clean facility that offers a lot of space for all kinds of things.

I was kind of disappointed in the venue. They just did a massive addition and the biggest drawback is the concession stand. DO NOT waste your time on the food here. MASSIVE disappointment! Go somewhere else, your stomach will thank you.

Don't expect much for the food and beverage, it is a convention center. Parking can be a challenge on larger shows, but I always seem to have a decent show when I am there.

I was impressed by the easy access and the large parking lot. My first impression was excellent. Extremely well maintained both outside and inside. The staff was courteous and knowledge about all of the venues taking place. I attended a celebration function that included a large buffet and multiple bars, serving high end liquor, brand name wine and a large assortment of beer.
Everything was 1st class from the set-up to the large audio/visual monitors. I will always recommend the Suburban Collection Showplace to all of my clients and vendors.

This is a nice conference center. Went for a trade show and everything ran smoothly. The parking filled up fast, but they have plenty of space. The location is great, there is a hotel attached but I stayed just five minutes away. Plenty of hotels nearby and food and entertainment.

This is THE STATE FAIR. Did you see that much advertisement? No!,!!!!!! The Royal Oak “Arts, Beats and Eats” does way more advertising. This is a problem because this is our State Fair. This year, again I went on Senior Day. Not much advertising on the fact that we get in “free”. I spoke with a few other seniors who paid full price—-they were mad. Also, where was any mention about veterans? Poor planning. The food has been a major disappointment. We have a lot of restaurants near by. Where were any? We would like better choices of food other than tjunk food. I will give Suburban Collection Showplace credit for how nice it was laid out. Since their new addition, everyone can get around much nicer. The food trucks were laid out in an orderly fashion. I normally go and speak with the farmers which is why I normally go to see the animals. There were chickens, rabbits, sheep, goats, cows, pigs, hogs and a few horses. They’re lacking in signs around the animals to inform you as to the breeds. When you don’t inform, you miss out on enjoyment of the fair. Also, there is a great need of signs for the tables that show various objects that are judged and given ribbons. It look like a vast area without any idea of what the ribbons meant, age groups, categories or what they represent. This was major disrespect to the individuals to provided their entries. Next come the agriculture. No signs of any kind. How many people know the different varieties of vegetables? I cannot believe more effort is not put into these areas. My last remark goes to the “volunteers”. They are no where to be found and when you do find some, they are normally just chatting among themselves and cannot provide any information. They do not have a clue. I think their only reason is to get in free. Please provide training before people arrive next time.
