You should be Advanced and have some dives under your belt, in the resent past. I used Neptune Divers out of Dahab. They were relatively good and the equipment was basically well maintained - even though it was a bit older/used. If it has been a while. I suggest a refresher course first and a few pleasure dives. It is a more technical dive and you should feel confident and comfortable. The Blue Hole section with the free divers is magical. Make sure to get an early start. Ask the start times from the different dive shops. It started to get busy as we left - this was a very positive part of Poseidon, when I did my dives there - we were the first ones out and it was just me and the dive master. Have a great time.

Hi There, How are you? There is one small entry point to get in to the blue hole only, it is a little bit rocky but there was plenty of scuba diving going on there I am a freediver so it was easy for me etc. But if you worried just try Freediving it’s really fun. Ras mohammed in Sharm is the best place to go it will blow your mind if you want to see loads of coral and mind blowing fish!!

Yes, you can snorkel with your child... taking the usual measures of precaution, of course (like appropriate equipment, watching permanently...). It takes special free-diving abilities and training to go deeper than 3-4 meters, without weights. More than this, there are areas of shallow water around the actual hole, with beautiful reef (corals and fish).

제가 딱 1월에 다합에서 스쿠버다이빙을 했었는데요, 겨울이라 물 밖보다 물 속이 더 따뜻하게 느껴져요. 저도 추위를 잘 타는 편인데 수영복만 입고 스노클링을 했었고, 물 밖이 너무 추워서 오히려 물 속에 오래 있었네요^^ 다이빙을 할 땐 wetsuit 입고 입수했었는데 견딜만 했습니다. 저는 오픈워터 코스를 밟아서 장비 렌탈이 포함됐었는데, wetsuit만 따로 렌탈이 가능할 지는 잘 모르겠네요 ㅠ

Yes, they say it is dangerous and... there were some incidents, (near the border with Israel) indeed, but as far as I know, none of them at the sea side. In all the touristic areas there are a lot of police and military posts on the road... I've never felt I'm in danger in Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab or Cairo. I've arrived by flight and also travel by bus, taxi, quad and private companies' cars. However... maybe I was lucky!

Any reception in Dahab can get you a car to drop you off there or once you arrive Dahab you can get any driver's number from the arrival stetion

There is no charge for snorkelling if you have snorkel and mask, no fee to swi in the blue hole. For scuba diving in blue hoe you need a PADI certificate and an experienced dive guide and there are dive centres in Dahab that can hep you it wil be about 250 - 350LE depending on how long you want to dive.

Bonjour, Je me souviens qu'à l'époque c'était faisable Je pense que le plus simple est de demander à un des clubs De notre cote, nous avions plonge avec Poseidon Divers a Dahab J'espère (et je crois) que Nicolas y travaille toujours Tres bon moniteur Français et mec adorable Il ne me reste plus qu'à ta souhaiter de belles balades Ps : le "Blue Hole" et "Canyon" (qui est à proximite) sont deux très belles plongees d'ambiance ou tu croiseras cependant assez peu de faune. Je te conseille de faire les différents autres spots de Dahab et autour, et notamment "The Island" et "Napoléon Reef"
