It is a paradise is a lonely beach but with surveillance there is a navy box before entering the beach that is next to the parking lot, the beach is spectacular has waves but is not strong, there are no vendors or chairs then you have to bring your own snacks and chairs 100% recommended

Resort was fantastic! All the G.O’s and staff were extremely friendly and helpful with all needs. Not to mention that the beaches were outstanding🤩. Totally recommend for a vacation🌴🌴🌴

For our anniversary, we stayed at the archipelago. The pool had a shallow deck and a deeper area with massage jets. After swimming in the ocean, we walked a few steps to our pool and listened to the surf and watched the waves. There was enough shade. The food at the main buffet was healthy and delicious; with ice cream and desserts too. Tremendous variety and local. The staff were very friendly and tried very hard to make your vacation memorable. We enjoyed learning about their home countries. Salah was especially nice. The families we met said the kid activities were very good. In fact, all ages seemed to be having a good time.

A trip to remember

I am writing these comments to reflect my recent trip to Club Med Miches Playa Esmeralda in the Dominican Republic. For some reason, this time I didn't try to find out anything about my destination. Maybe I knew it couldn't be that bad. In fact, and to be honest, it’s one of the best all-inclusive trips of my not-so-short life.
Arrival :
My wife and I arrived around 10 p.m. and it was the very friendly GO (Gentil Organizer) Ghita who welcomed us and accompanying us to our rooms, giving us initial information. We were able to have dinner at the Coco Plum Beach Lounge restaurant which was open at that time.
Restaurants and bars:
Coco Plum is open all day and is located near the beach. The only other restaurant (Cayuco Main Restaurant), which is larger, is located next to the main entrance. It is a typical self-service restaurant, with a variety of food islands (salads, fruits, cheeses and cold meats, Asian cuisine, meats and fish, etc.) where you can get individual portions, as opposed to a buffet-style restaurant where pre-cooked food awaits you in large frying pans.
During the week that we stayed there, we were treated to very varied and delicious cuisine, sometimes even exquisite as was the case for this Tuna Brik and another Japanese one, whose name is Konomiayaki. Several times we had barbecues at several different locations of the hotel. And each time, we see that the hotel does not skimp on the variety of what it offers us.
The bars are reasonably stocked, nothing more. For lovers of Single Malt and other more refined drinks, there is a cash bar.
Animation and GO:
But as you will see, it is not my stomach that will weigh heavily on my review of this hotel. It’s the rest, the atmosphere and the involvement of the people who work there. The GOs indeed! Who fully deserve their nicknames. But not just them, it’s all the staff, including chefs and sous-chefs as well as the top management. The latter in particular do not hide in their plush offices and are constantly making their rounds to inquire with each client individually.
Beyond the attentive service and the concern that we feel is sincere with which we were surrounded, what immediately comes to mind is the entertainment. Personally, I am reserved by nature, and given my advanced age I do not seek to get more involved than that. But whether during regular sports activities in the swimming pool or the multiple themed parties organized during the evening, it is difficult to resist. People are having a blast and, importantly, it doesn’t seem like it’s because they’ve had too much to drink.
It doesn't take a genius to immediately see that GOs have a lot to do with it.
No matter the event, they come in large numbers, kind and smiling, thus constituting the critical mass necessary to 'boost' the atmosphere of said event, and to overcome and involve the diesel-type customers of which I am one.
In Miches I attended great evenings, where all the people were having fun, dancing and running around the floor in single file as if they had come together. These are the times when the GM (General Manager) of Club Med Miches, I named Patrizio, changes clothes and acts as DJ and host of the evening. A true force of nature Patrizio. As soon as he starts, the atmosphere ignites, the temperature rises and only stops when he gets off stage. Sometimes his assistant Nate takes over and it continues. This way of hosting would benefit, I think, from being taught in some tourism school. That said, it is not given to every GM to make such sustained efforts (FYI, Patrizio is very athletic, handsome and affable at that).
Service:
Patrizio also often participates with Mehdi (Chef at the Coco Plum) and Adil from Marrakech (Chef at Cacao & Co) in taking care of preparing the barbecue food and serving it to customers. And I’m not talking here about a furtive presence just to impress! Unimaginable elsewhere and impressive as far as I am concerned.
The aforementioned people (Ghita, Patrizio, Nate, Mehdi and Adil) as well as Sherry(?), reception manager at Coco Plum, were particularly welcoming to us, and made our stay a memorable one. We also have good memories of Noyan, Sanaa, Ann, Coco, Yassin and, last, but not least, Pier-Ann whose smiles certainly brightened up some of the rainy days we had (-: she comes from the same country as me).
Family:
Oh yes, this establishment is also a little paradise for the youngest, even at a young age. They seemed to be having just as much fun as the older persons, and they have plenty of facilities to help them do that. The clientele consists mainly of children, their parents and their grandparents.
Bedrooms :
Our room, which is located on the Caribbean Paradise side, was spacious and comfortable with a large balcony overlooking a lush forest.

When I was at club med there was a teens club and I decided to join. I made so many friends and new memories. Thank you to Cami and Fefa for being so welcoming and kind to me. I made so many great memories their and I really hope I can go back ❤️.

I went to Club Med Miches and it was amazing, we had so much fun with teens club, thanks a lot to Cami and Fefa, they are full of energy and amazing people. I will never forget this trip and I hope we can come back someday!

Michelle is a great fitness instructor and is welcoming to everyone. She reached my expectations with her class and made everyone work hard by making them even more confident and walk out of there feeling better then when they came in.

Oui prévoir des produits efficaces. Les piqûres se situent aux pieds et aux jambes éviter le sable et la plage avant9h et après 4h.

I see you're from Punta Cana and see that you noted that Club Med is already building on Miches for 12/2019. I apologize but I'm one of those people who signed up to be there. I hope that Club Med stays true & holistic to the scenery.
You mentioned the treacherous road: I'm trying to find a way for my family and I to get from PUJ AIRPORT to Club Med but finding a paucity of TRANSPORTATION companies. Do you have any recommendations? Thanx, either way.

Bueno puedes ir al dominican tree House, es un hotel ecológico con habitaciones en los árboles y una cascada (llamada Lulú) a 2 minutos caminando y la playa a 15 minutos.
Este hotel es excelente para relajarse y conectarse con la naturaleza.

Je voudrais avoir plus de renseignements sur les prestations qu offr l etablissement . Les chambres , le service et surtout la qualitee de la nourriture , ainsi que les animations du soir .O n m a affirme que c est un hotel reserve aux adultes c est ce que nous recherchons ou si on peut m indiquer un autre etablissement similaire nous tenons beaucoup a l exellence de la nouriture mais nous ne voulons pas de punta cana trop usine a touristes pour nous .merci

Le côté Archipelago est réservé aux adultes...Même si quelques enfants passent, c’est tranquille...
Nourriture certains pas trouvé excellente...personnellement, elle est bonne mais pas exceptionnelle..
