The first day of our Dolomiti Explorer we had a great guide, however, he didn't speak a word of English. The second day the ski instructor Margaret was very unprofessional. She kicked my friend out of the group after the second run saying she was too slow. Well the instructor on the first day should have sorted that out and let the school know if they didn't think she (my friend) was not good enough to continue with the 5 day explorer which we signed up for. Then Margaret lost one of the men who was skiing in our group. NOT GOOD. I met up with the man she lost in town a few days later and he and his wife quit after that day. Margaret also kicked out another couple who was skiing in our group. All in all it was a terrible experience. The management couldn't have been any nicer and refunded our money but the damage was done.

I attended the Skischool Ortesei for the week, in the beginners to intermediate group. Excellent course and our instructor Lucus was amazing, building our confidence and techniques. Highly recommended.

Thanks to teacher Brigitte I learned to ski at the age of 24 with only three lessons. I also rented skis at this school and they were very honest in reimbursing us for the skis for the last day when we couldn't ski because my boyfriend got hurt.

Second time in Ortisei and I have always used this school and I must confirm that they are very good.
Ski lesson from 4th to 8th March with 3 days from 10am to 1pm and on Thursdays from 10am to 4pm (let's say intermediate beginners course) like last year. Their skill was that after the first two days, despite considering me a good skier (ten years of experience and 78 years old), they preferred to make me move in a group with the same times, less experienced but quite similar to me in terms of speed.
Having also warned them in advance, this was very useful as he was added to my son's group as he was little more than a beginner and had reached the halfway point of the course.
I would add that my son had such a good time that we are thinking about returning next year.
Finally, a special applause goes to maestro Stefano L. (who I already met last year) who was truly spectacular

Given that the ski instructors throughout Italy are of the highest level, this ski school particularly impressed me with its courtesy, serenity and professionalism. Thanking all the teachers who never refrained from a smile, a joke or directions so as not to "get lost" in the enormous ski area, I like to thank the teacher Christian who took care of my son. I was particularly struck by the leap in quality that the whole group had during the week. If only one young athlete had improved, one might have thought it was a personal talent, but instead all the boys had a truly significant improvement. All this in a particularly complicated week due to the weather and snow conditions and this says a lot about the professionalism and skills of the instructor. Thank you so much, you are perfect.

Our kids (13 and 10) were a bit reluctant to join ski school, having previously had private instructors, but they loved it (one in Kids' Ski Academy, the other in the Red Stars) and now insist they will only go to ski school in the future if it's this one.
Communication ahead of time was really efficient and helpful. The school is very well organised, and has sufficient scale to be able to ensure that kids are skiing with others of similar age, ability and language. The instuctors all speak Italian, German and English, most of them are local and very experienced.

Terrible experience please be aware of taking your kids here. Our daughter ski instructor Waldi on a second day told me and my daughter that she will have to go in other group, just because she was afraid to ski on a very icy slope. We’ve been working hard to give her the feeling she can do it and this lady Waldi was cruel as a butcher, she shouldn’t be around kids! My daughter started to cry as she understood what happened. She was eventually put in another group but very disorganized all.

Lezione privata 12 marzo e poi lezione di gruppo intermedi dal lunedì 13 al venerdì 17.Professionalità al massimo. Gentilezza, bravura, simpatia. Questo per tutti i maestri, ma una menzione particolare per Giulia D. Di mercoledì giovedì e venerdì. Sa trasmettere la sua passione per lo sci e sa capire benissimo problemi dei suoi allievi. The professionalism and kindness of the ski instructors is incredible and my family and I learned so much from our instructors, Sofia and Martin P.! They introduced us to so many beautiful pistes, helping to sharpen and challenge our skills in a way that was fun and doable for the entire family. The slopes in Val Gardena are world class (as are the snowmakers), and the beauty and wonder of the gorgeous Italian Dolomite Mountains simply breathtaking.

Dear Ski School Ortisei - is it possible to only have the children join the group lessons for certain days? As they have to get back into the technique we would like them to have lessons, however at the end of the week they would like to join us on the slopes.Is this possible?

Ciao, questa scuola fa lezioni sul Seceda per i più esperti, per chi inizia campetti in paese ad Ortisei e lezioni anche sull'Alpe di Siusi. Castelrotto rimane da altra parte con altre scuole, molto valide anche quelli. Prezzi dipende da periodo, ore, lezioni collettive o private ecc ecc
