I want to tell people that travel with dogs thru the El Catey Samana airport that even if you have a one year rabie shot certificate this airport says its no good only for 30 days, so you have to go to a vet in dominican and pay for their certificate. It was a awful experience the people at airport were not going to let us get on our flight.
I am done with Dominican. We were there last year and had no problem at airport, the dominican people at airport just make up their own rules to get more money out of you. We had to pay 500 pesos but the worse part was telling us we couldnt get on the plane. Just beware they make up their own rules. So your health certificate that you get in Canada is useless after 30 days for this year 2025. Next year they will have different rules. Good Luck !

I was sick due to heatstroke and was unable to attend. I would only get a full reimbursement with a doctor’s note. I didn’t have one since I just slept it off in the cool room and drank plenty of fluids. I was disappointed that zero effort was made to try and help me

Ripoff! Website is not easy to understand. You book a tour and told you are getting food and drink. Gone for over 6 hours with nothing provided. Took 2 hours of waiting and picking up other people before you even get to the buggy place. Booked a transfer and they never showed up. Told me that the time I booked wasn’t the time they assigned me but will not give my money back. Had to pay for another ride since they were there in time for me to get to airport. Went to go ask their rep at Lopesan for help and he wouldn’t help. Other rep was at lunch and they didn’t know when she would return.

Dis appointed and i never get back my money for the calcelation, they gave us compensation form stating and guaranteed after 60 days, but it was not refunded! And im still waiting for it till now!

For external reasons they canceled the excursion to Isla Saona in Punta Cana, for this reason, they gave us the option of refunding money. There was a delay of more than 2 weeks in the refund, however, I must point out that - despite certain difficulties in achieving expeditious communication - it is a reliable company that complies with what is indicated.

Took the City Tour from Puerta Plata. Our tour guide Eddie was amazing. We did the cable car ride to the top of the mountain. It was beautiful. A chocolate factory tour, yummmmm. Had lunch, DFC, best fried chicken I’ve ever had. Rice and beans and salad, delicious. The idea of serving lunch was a nice added touch. And the Central Park, cathedral, Pink Street, Umbrella lane, all great photo ops. It was a great value for the cost. Learned about culture and land. Informative and enjoyable.

Very disappointed in service. Driver never showed up for transfer to airport. After waiting 45 minutes and unable to reach anyone, finally took a cab. Afterwards, absolutely no response regarding a refund.

My tour guide Andy Ortega helped me chose the greatest packages for the excursions which was the combo with the waterfall, zip liner, and driving a buggy. Together with the VIP boat party and cultural escape. The waterfall one is an experience I will never forget. I will recommend anyone to visit Puerto Plata and have Andy as their tour guide. I will definitely visit again and attend more new excursions.

bs ds marian te cuento que fui a isla saona , y la picina , nos dieron de beber y bailar arriba del barco , bailando y disfrutando el viaje ( se iso de ida con un velero muy amplio y de vuelta con lanchas de velocidad fantasticas ) en la isla nos sirvieron un almuerso tipico para esta situacion, ( suculento y variedad ) TE RECOMIENDO LA PIÑA COLADA EN LA MISMA PIÑA Y REGATEA EL PRECIO TOMANDOTE DOS UNA SALE LA MITAD ( valor de la piña 6u$a) disfruta que es hermoso

It all depend on what you interested and how much money you willing to spend really. We did a bunch of activities while there and no complaints about any of them. As long as you into it with open mind you will have a ball!!
