I went with my 3 yr old boy and hubby to pick nectarines which were at 6$ a kg. Entry fees was 5$ each for adults. The farm is nice and had many trees loaded with nectarines. But only a small area was open which had ripe crop in it. So we were done in hf an hr though we thought that it will be a longer activity. So I suggest clubbing fruit picking with some other activity in the mountains as it's over before you expect. Thw fruit bowl nearby serves great scones and coffee and fresh veggies and fruits. A fun activity especially for kids!!

Went with my family and extended family to the orchard to pick some apples this Sunday and had a great experience. There are toilets on site, ample parking outside the orchard.
We picked some pink ladies and granny smiths and the apples are delicious. One highlight is the initial tour by a guide of what they have, what can be picked, where we can go, what can we do or not do. Not the same experience we had in other (pick your own) PYO farms where you are by yourself.
It is about an hour, hour and a half drive from Sydney and is right off the ‘Bells Line of Road’. Some tool to help you pick apples from up the top would be useful as all the good ones are up there and are not reachable. The orchard also has a dedicated picnic area which is great if you take kids and wish to spend some quality time.
Pricing could be marked better as there is no incentive of picking apples from the orchard by yourself when the price is comparable to what you get in Woolys or Coles. (Unlike Cherries, that review is for another day, season). You can go for the experience, won’t save much though.

I worked in Apple orchard before. Really wanna try with my husband. It's really a good experience for us. The apples are so delicious. We'd love to go back later for green apples!

We are returning this year. Last year was our first time with our 9 & 11 year olds. They had an amazing time, and so did we. Such a friendly & fun experience for all. Asked if they wanted to go again this year, and no stalling on a yes vote. We started with brunch at Kurrajong Village, then On the way back we stopped at the Bilpin cider co and had some cold ciders. Great day out.

We had so much fun. A family business full of love,our guide was a beautiful man, who walked us down and told us where and what we can pick, how to pick. Picking the fruit was fun and rewarding to show kids, fruit grows from trees not from the shop. I can't wait to go back. Every member of the family I saw/meet were so friendly, helpful and just a pure delight. We can't wait to go back!!!!! Oh and the apples are yummy!!!

My husband and I visited here last Sunday to pick our supply of apples - a tradition we have been been following nearly every year for approximately 20 years since our children were young. It has been a delight to watch the orchard grow and grow to its current size covering such a variety of fruits from apples to stone fruit. I hope we can continue to enjoy this lovely place for many years to come. The young staff are such a pleasure to engage with - full of smiles, information and assistance.

Wish I know this place a little bit earlier. What a great afternoon picking apples with my 2 young kids & wife. The place is vast despite many visitors that day. Staff is very friendly and the farm is clean, easy to walk & tidy. Will be back again for other seasonal fruit. Allow 90-120 mins if you drive from Sydney.

We've been coming here for a good 6 years now. It's always our #1 choice due to the variety of fruit and berries on offer as well as the extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff. You pay for what you have in your basket by weight. You're allowed to sample before you pick (be respectful) and it's great to show kids, who are so often disconnected from where our food comes from, where their food is grown.
And honestly - once you eat an apple straight from the tree, anything in the shops will pale in comparison!

About 90 minutes from Sydney, this is family-friendly fruit picking at its best. It wasn't too crowded (apparently a slow day though), and there was plenty of apples, plums and pears. You wait near the shed, and the staff take you down to the trees and show you how and where you are allowed to pick fruit.
It's a shame that there is so much wastage (the ground is littered with fruit), and there seem to be some people who think it's fine to eat the fruit, and kids who think it's ok to knock the fruit of the tress with sticks and branches.
The property is nice, and the staff are friendly. The fruit was $4 per kg (and sweet) when we were there. Parking can be a bit tight though.
