An amazing experienced run by two very gentle kind patient and knowle people.
We went as a group of three, mum and two kids ages 9 and 7 having never snorkelled before. Kids were very excited but a littler nervous but Fred and Adriana were so patient with them, giving them time to figure it out themselves and explore. We saw squid, octopus, sea urchin, spider crab, hermit crab, eel, huge shoals of fish and much more. The kids loved exploring the caves and tunnels, although as someone who is not a huge fan of small spaces- climbing in was a little overwhelming for mummy! (All optional though and nothing forced).
The walk to the beach does involve climbing some rocks, nothing crazy but worth noting that it is not straight from the beach, although I am sure Fred and Adriana could organise this if needed.
It was very quickly to as “the best day ever”.
Cannot recommend enough.

What can i say; Pedro and Adriana were absolutely incredible!! I was on a trip with a looked after child with learning disabilities and another member of staff. Pedro was so patient with the young man we were with and did not mind re-explaining himself where needed. The climb, caves, beaches and sea life were amazing and it was incredible to be able to give this young man some space to explore his skills knowing that we were in the safety of such fabulous guides. I would absolutley recommend this trip to anyone visiting portugal. Oh the fruit and biscuits on the beach after the trip was a really nice touch too. Thank you.

The experience with Pedro and Adrianna was just incredible and unforgettable! They already prepared everything for us and provided all important information at the very beginning. We first swam briefly on the beach and then we made a short excursion to the foot. It can be a bit challenging but it took a really short time and the view was breathtaking. And then... we discovered the local caves and Pedro always had very important information and facts for us! The caves were fantastic, really original and unlike anything I've seen so far. In the end we even swam back - and could also enjoy the company of many small fish!
On the beach we even had a little refreshment:)
The snorkeling session of the caves of the Portuguese Algarve with Pedro and Adrianna was really incredible, totally recommended!

A great opportunity to spend a morning discovering amazing, hidden and curious places. We have learned a lot thanks to the extensive knowledge and patience of the guides. Fully recommended if you want to know from another perspective the incredible coasts of Algarve.

Ever wondered what it’s like to turn a city girl with her 11-year-old son into a cave-exploring adventurer? Well, let me tell you about my life-changing experience on a snorkeling tour with Zip & Trip in Portimão!
From the moment we set out, I knew this wasn’t going to be your average tour. Pedro, our guru-like guide, led us into hidden caves that you’d never find on your own. Get ready to climb a bit, crawl, and swim through schools of fish. Trust me, I was scared, but Pedro’s calm and expert guidance made it all feel possible.
I even had the chance to meet the owner, a professional scuba instructor from Sweden who started Zip & Trip with his wife a number of years ago. He was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge about the stunning limestone formations. We saw million-year-old fossils nestled in the cave walls, cozy homes for birds and other fascinating creatures. At first, I thought I couldn't do it, but he was my savior! He literally never left my side, holding onto a board with me and making sure I was okay every part of the way. I went from freaking out to calm and confident, all thanks to his patience and graciousness.
Anderson, another amazing team member, took all of the photos during our adventure. He was incredibly kind and caring, capturing every moment beautifully so we could relive the experience again and again.
Forget those hundreds of boat tours you see—this is the only way to explore the mysterious, hidden caves of Portimão. If I can do it, anyone can. I promise this tour will be the highlight of your trip, with memories to last a lifetime.

I highly recommend the snorkling experience with Zip&Trip. It is made up of a spectacular team, very dedicated to making each activity a unique and special experience, they promote sustainable tourism at all levels and meet all the individual needs of participants in the activities , making the experience very adapted and personalized. If you are in the Algarve, plan your trip, it will be an incredible experience that you will not forget!

This was a wonderful experience! There was a lot of wildelife to see and many hidden caves to explore (which you can only reach at certain times). Pedro and Adrianna were amazing guides, giving us ample instructions on how to go about everything and also giving us background info on the area and geological history.
If I remember correctly this was also one of the first times Adrianna came along as a guide and she carried herself beautifully. Pedro in turn was able to lead the whole snorkeltour really well and even did some diving to show us.
10/10 would strongly recommend!

Thanks to Julie and Helder you will feel at home in this beauty that they see you discover (in French). Top explanations! Tours and detours of the zodiac by Helder which allow you to take photos from all angles. 1 presence of Julie, caring for her passengers and always 1 well-placed anecdote. Moreover, being at the ccar area, Romy and Elodie came to pick us up in a 4x4: the full service.

It was a very nice tour: the guides were super friendly and helpful. They could tell us a lot about nature and showed us beautiful caves and beaches. The snorkeling was great!

We are staying in Lagos, and a majority of beaches here have tons of seaweed (algae). This makes snorkeling quite unpleasant. Will the tour guides bring us to places without seaweed?

Hello, we will be staying in Carvoeiro. Can you tell me how close the location is? Will we need to get a taxi there? Also, is this all swimming from location to location or is a boat ride involved? Just wondering if it’s three full hours of swimming. Thank you.
